Heres what I "Think"
Maybe a black base with purple lightning and a white base with sun rays for light

They will still be red on the base since they are for STT, so I doubt any 2 tones luminous..

I know that but i mean it will be black like for the undead, under the skull is like black under it. thats what i meant

However, I think the Dark ones will look like black swirls with dark green shades on them, while the Light ones will look like ancient white greek-like pavements, made of a pure stone.

I think it's going to be a dark circle with stars and a glow in the dark moon on the edge for dark and just a sun for light

Since we beat the game this weekend (We took our sweet time), I'm not all that sure we'll even get any of the new L/D Skylanders. I mean we would just probably play them in the new adventure packs and then be done with them.... and then have them nerfed in favor of the "new" light/dark skylanders for Skylanders 5.

I totally agree. I am so going to trap Kaos as Knight Light.

It actually was my guess. Lol but Blackout3000 said it was but i don't exactly believe him but maybe it will be that. Sounds cool what he guessed

Probably because she, as many other users, wants to have all the characters needed to 100% the game (including all the Adventure Packs and at least a Trap Master and trap per Element), before finishing the main Story.

I'm not starting nightmare mode until i get a trap master of every element. I will get 8 elements most likely at christmas (if Blastermind is out by then) Then i get the Light and Dark later. then Start nightmare. Or do nightmare with all 8 element. Maybe i'll do a playthrough. By the way Activision just revealed Light and Dark.. Haha Just kidding i wish.

Maybe the Light base is a golden eight-curved pointed sun whereas the Dark base is a dark blue crescent moon with little craters.
