Times to watch at: 2 pm PT/ 5 pm ET for North America and 10 pm GMT for the UK.

Where to watch:

The focus seems to be on both the 3DS and Wii U games this time round as well as looking at 2015's games as well. Hopefully it should be worth it.

I'm suspicious with it being a worldwide Direct. I expect 1-3 game reveals (HOPEFULLY THE METROID FOR 3DS THEY DECIDED ON).

I really want to finally see news on SMT X FE and/or gameplay, considering it's almost 2 years since it's reveal.
Last batch of OR/AS news will be shown off, most likely will be what leaks in corocoro.

I'm hoping for a peek at Star Fox on Wii U. I'd like to see Metroid on 3DS and an F-Zero title for either system, but I'm not going to hold my breath on it either.
Would also like to hear that a sequel to Kid Icarus is coming, but Sakurai already said that it's not happening.

Yeah I know it's a lot of fantasizing, but that's because I don't see what else I would have to look forward to with the direct. Smash and ORAS news that won't influence my decision to buy either game or a Wii U. Amiibo stuff that probably won't stop me from thinking them to be a waste of time. And maybe some new 3DS news for the west if we're lucky.

New IP that caters to the hardcore RPG fans.

Oh wait, that'll be never. :(

I hope for something new and unexpected.

Maybe even more info on the next Zelda Wii U or maybe even Majora's Mask.

Let's also hope for the unveiling of Link in Mario Kart 8 at last as well as the TP pack for the Hyrule Warriors season pass. Cross fingers for the Hero's Shade or Ashei.

I'd love to see some type of Punch Out!! sequel. The one for Wii was incredibly fun, and we already saw Little Mac (and some of the boxers as trophies) in Smash.

EDIT 2: Well that was a good Direct imo. Several updates and lots of other things that are looking good so far including the remake of a certain game... From what I can remember in the Direct:

Yeah that was alright. Best of show was Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and Splatoon, and that Persona 3DS looks mighty fine. Captain Toad doesn't seem like a terrible idea anymore either, and will probably turn out alright.

I'm still not sold on amiibo, however, and Nintendo's attempts at getting with the indie crowd seems pointless since they rarely ever have meaningful sales in the eShop, allowing them to be bested by PC and even Sony in that particular aspect.

I'll be waiting for E3 for my Star Fox news.

I would argue the opposite. I'm not expecting an F Zero any time soon, but this stuff shows that Nintendo still acknowledges the franchise's existence (aside from just in Smash), and could be them testing the waters for a return.

It would be a lot more dire if they never bothered to put this stuff in, or worse yet, remove Falcon from Smash.

That was literally the best direct they've made imo. So many great things were shown off, including MAJORA'S MASK REMAKE CONFIRMEDD

It wasn't the BEST, but it was really good. The best thing about it was that it proves they're not solely banking on Smash Bros.

This. Nintendo's done this before. They did it when they put majora's mask in a Link Between Worlds and made the skullkid an assist trophy in smash. They also did it with Pokemon X and Y when they had the numerous Hoenn references. To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually announced a new F-Zero. If Starfox is coming back with a new entry, anything's possible.

I didn't take that as a hint towards anything, it's just another Assist Trophy for Smash that makes sense.

I don't even think the Skull Kid Assist Trophy is in the 3DS version.
