He's a brave "pilot".
And he can fight "enemies from beyond the grave", since he's supposed to be extinct too.

No, it's obviously Funny Bone. Funny Bone, no matter what TFB says, looks nothing like a dog and more like a dragon or reptilian thing. Even with the added frisbee and dog-like mannerisms. Funny Bone would seem to fit the rhyme best. But you never know...

Hello everybody, and welcome back once again to Adam's Trap Team Reviews! Apparently my last riddle caused some confusion and debate, so I'm not gonna waste time with an opening joke and just tell you who I'm gonna review today.

It's none other than the armored dragon of bravery himself, Blades! ...Funny Bone? ...I can understand Chopper, but really? I guess if you remove his THOUSANDS of references to being a DOG, then I can see how you could mistake him for a reptile. Um... anyway, let's go on.
On the right is Blades' legendary variant. I just own the regular version.

DESIGN

As far as his design goes, there's not really all that much different to it that's already been done for previous dragon-landers. I do like the design of his armor though as it just screams knight to me. And I also do like how his wings and tail are modeled after swords. Actually, I think his tail IS a sword. But take that armor off and not only do you have a naked dragon, you'd probably have one that would look just like Spyro. ...Except blue. ...And possibly silver. ...With a sword for a tail if that isn't part of the armor.

GAMEPLAY

As you would expect from someone named Blades, he can slice up enemies using his wings and tail. And while slicing at enemies is a strong attack for him, I think he only gets one combo attack. Neither of his upgrade paths give him any more combos. I just think that's weird, and an odd choice. Anyway, Blades can also throw miniature swords on the ground, which can then be sent flying forward by using his slicing wings. I always found this attack pretty hard to aim, they'd usually direct toward other enemies aside from the one you want to attack. He can also summon this cyclone that follows him around and can also pick up the blade shards. It's pretty useful if you choose the cyclone upgrade path. All in all, Blades is a pretty fun character to play as.

PERSONALITY

In his bio, it stated Blades was an adventurous young dragon who always wanted to be a knight. (Actually that's kinda funny considering how most tales tell of knights and dragons being enemies) And until then he was guarding a dungeon housing a Golden Fear Serpent. And as soon as said serpent woke from it's beauty sleep, everyone was frightened. Except for Blades, who went straight up to that fear serpent and made it disappear with the power of COURAGE! ...And by that I mean he didn't even fight it. He just walked up to it and it saw he was brave, so the snake just fled I guess. And then he became a Skylander. This is actually a nice change from the typical "X protected Y from Z and then Eon made him a Skylander" backstory. Even if it doesn't make that much sense.

-Gameplay: 4/5 - Good
-Personality: 4/5 - Good
-Overall: 4/5 - Good

Fun to play as and definitely shows his bravery. Blades is definitely worthy of going through Flynn's imagination to ride the Nightmare Express! ...Unless you just get him in a triple pack with two characters not part of an Adventure Pack. ...Again, odd choice.

With nine votes, you asked for a Pain-Yatta and you get it! Let me start off by saying you gotta feel bad for the guy. I mean, he spent his whole life scared to climb trees, and also afraid of blindfolded children and baseball bats. That's gotta be hell. Anyway, I can see why everybody wanted me to review him. Everyone loved him when he was first revealed. It's surprisingly a lot of fun to stun enemies by barfing candy all over them and then smacking them with an oversized lollipop! Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolly lolly lolly lollipop. Pop. Not to mention this guy is pretty funny in his dialogue. Though I don't really get why he has a Spanish accent in his "Meet the Villains" trailer and not in the game. Again, another odd choice. But anyway... what more is there to really say about Pain-Yatta? He's filled with candy!

4/5 - Good

Pain-Yatta can be trapped in Chapter 8: Telescope Towers. Beating him is mandatory to progressing through the level anyway.
