Anyone else still waiting on e-coupons from skylanders club? I have bought over 40 this month, and no freebies yet!

Yea, I bought a bunch of random figures for the kids in my classroom to play with and haven't gotten anything from Gamestop about a free figure.

I actually just recieved my coupon for $9.99 off of a skylander figure.

I got the email from them on 10/10.

Ahh, ok, so they sent an email.. You didn't have to check your rewards zone for coupon? Cool

I've gotten the $9.99 coupon twice, and both times there was no e-mail notification about it. I just stumbled upon them under PowerUp Rewards/Active Offers when logged into the website.

That's what I was thinking! Thanks for all the help! I'll sit back and wait!

Well I figured since the boys in the class liked Skylanders so much, I'd buy a bunch that they could play with during downtime (especially rainy days or in the winter). I was told that I could get them for the room so long as I bought ones that had no weapons in their hands. The kids love those things and play with them any chance we get! I made sure to label them though, just in case any accidentally end up going home with any students.

That was next question, since some are more violent looking than others, lol!

I had the hardest time getting coupons for the Skylanders from GameStop. Try the site first and if all eles fails contact them.

I ended up having to call them, and when I asked why I had to go this far to get my coupons they replied they couldn't comment at this time...

I may have to call. Still nothing on my dashboard after all the characters I've bought.

Do it sooner than later, cause it takes forever even after you call.. Kinda sucks to go through all this for something that was supposed to be automatic.. It is what lured me in to buying most of them there, other than I love the trade in program.. I have everything out to date and haven't spent a single dime...

The issue with gamestop was that some of the Swap Force toys had reused SKUs from some old Matrix toys. The automated system wouldn't count those as skylanders purchases. Additionally, the adventure packs for Trap Team don't properly show you've purchased a skylander (the $9.99 off skylander coupon doesn't work on them either.) If your $9.99 off coupon doesn't work during purchase, ask for a key holder or a manager and they can manually adjust the price of the sale. As for getting your $9.99 coupon, just call the 800 number for gamestop. They might try to pawn it off on the store, but if you insist and ask to speak to a supervisor, they will usually just credit your Power up rewards card 10k points for a $10 off coupon.

Is it only the Swap Force characters that counted towards it, or was it any characters? It the lot that I bought for the classroom, I bought some Giants characters as well. I would assume any and all characters would count, but who knows with Gamestop.

I called them and got hung up on twice after a 30 minute wait each time, finally ended up with 6 free figures, and 40,000 points for the hassle.. Overall I guess in the end I'm happy, but damn, what an experience!! And according to supervisor, it is any figure from any game, and adv packs count as 2..
