Alright. So you guys know that back in 2012, Universal Studios was able to pull off a Silent Hill haunted house, right?
Well, after looking at some haunted houses, I thought, "What if there was a haunted house based off of the game Mad Father?"
Why did I have this thought?
Because after doing searches upon searches for haunted houses based off of games, to me, it appears that Silent Hill was the only game that got a haunted house.
So I thought, "Hey! Why not make a haunted house based off of the indie horror game Mad Father?"
We all know how the game goes, but I thought it would be REALLY cool to make a Mad Father haunted house.
Obviously I cannot do it this year because I'm very sure that haunted houses take lots and lots of time to make. And by lots of time, we're probably talking about at least 5 months to a year's worth of planning, as well as getting the money needed to create it and build it. Plus Halloween is already around the corner right now, so...
Other ideas for game-based haunted houses that I had in mind were:

•Five Nights at Freddy's
•Amnesia: The Dark Descent
•Ib
•Paranoiac
•Fatal Frame
•Haunting Ground
•Ju-on: The Grudge (It's mainly a movie but it's also a game for the Wii.)

What's Mad Father?

FNaF and Amnesia sound like the best ideas, mostly since they're the games people are most familiar with today, leading to your haunted house getting more attention and visitors. It's a good concept though.

Mad Father is an indie horror game about this girl who has a father that tests on humans or something. I can't quite remember the full concept.
Though if I had to choose between Five Nights at Freddy's and Amnesia for a haunted house, I'd probably pick FNAF, mainly because it would require a little bit less than Amnesia budget-wise. But that's my opinion.

Mad Father sounds like it can work.

Be mindful that if you want to make a truly faithful recreation of FNaF you would need to create animatronics, design them as the characters, and program them to act similar to their game counterparts.

That is true. You do have a good point.
I was thinking about making a private Facebook group or something that's specially made FOR the project, so that then the project can get more support this way.
I've been talking with my sister about it and she said that it could cost a lot of money. Hence why I would think about making a private Facebook group, to get more support and help.

All of these are great ideas!

The only ones I can see happening are Ju-on and Amnesia.

The others are just very unlikely or big nope.

FNaF would be best on a low budget, but Amnesia could be done with more money. Due to the sheer size and detail put into Amnesia maps, it would cost a LOT more
My FNaF idea:
There would be actors in the main area by day, and you could watch the actual animatronics/people in costumes perform. By night, there would be tapes of the day in offices and you could see backstage tapes, dining room tapes, etc.
The point would be to figure out what happened that day and see if there were any deaths by finding evidence around the place.
There would be people in animatronic costumes going around the place and if you got caught, you would have to forfeit your evidence and be 'out' for that round. Like a game show, there would be many people trying to find evidence, and the first to find it all would make it to 6 am.
My OTHER FNaF idea:
Just make a haunted house with FNaF animatronics in it done.

Just make a bunch of slender man notes to put up around the place, and get someone talk to dress up as Slenderman and maybe two other people as Masky and Hoodie if you want to go the Marble Hornets route.

I could see Ju-On the Grudge getting one in Japan.

Mad Father? Nope. The only RPG horror game that I could see as a haunted house is Ao Oni (and it'd be the same as above: only in Japan.).

I could almost definitely see someone pull off a FNAF themed one, especially with the praise it's receiving.
