Seriously though, this topic needs a purpose.
What are the cheesiest and most horribly scripted and acted horror movies you've ever seen?
For me, obviously the movie that this is from, Leprechaun, Trolls 2, and Birdemic... plus Wasp Woman, some really old creepy movie called White Zombie, and countless others.
Calling all horror fans, name off some of the bad ones you've seen!

If one is searching for horribly written, terribly edited and badly acted horror film, I've got five words for you: Manos: The Hands of Fate!

Leprechaun

Gotta admit that the Leprechaun series is pretty cheesy. Personally I'm a big fan though (of the first three at least... 4-6 was meh and while I'm just about to watch the new reboot, Origins, it looks bad too). Warwick Davis is awesome.

Anyway, I get tricked by cool looking covers all of the time, especially with horrible horror films like Werewolf In A Woman's Prison and Blood Sisters (in which I end up skipping most of the film due to them actually being pornos), starring the most laughable acting I've ever seen - then again, I guess skilled acting isn't a required trait for those kinds of films. Other crappy low budget films I watched include Camp Blood, Rise Of The Dead, etc.
Aaand of course there's those films that are popular and high budget that I just have a personal distaste for - Hostel, Slither, Cabin In The Woods, The Hills Have Eyes, Quarantine, The Collector, etc.

Wasn't Hornswaggle from the WWE the Leprechaun for the new Origins movie? smilie
And yeah some horror movies actually turn out to be pornos. Wasp Woman being one of them. The chick would bang with a guy and then kill him. Wtf lol.
Anyway.. What are your favorite horrors? Personally I like Silence of the Lambs, the old Hitchcock thrillers, Freddy vs. Jason (laughable fun in general smilie), When a Stranger Calls (I like the house, okay? lol), and the Final Destination series. Oh, and the Conjuring and You're Next was pretty good too.

^ That's right, he is! Don't know why they'd choose him over Warwick Davis, who I heard wasn't even asked to be in the film, though apparently he wouldn't minded to have been. I get it's a reboot, but replacing the main star? Like the Nightmare On Elm Street reboot, that's a bit of a turn-off for a lot of people. I heard in the new movie, the Leprechaun doesn't even talk, he just grunts - personally, another turn-off for me personally since I liked the comedy of the past films that Davis offered. I understand it's a reboot, though, so it ought to be expected to be way different than the past films.

Thanks for letting me know that, I'll definitely steer clear of that movie then! Sounds pretty dull.

I like your choices! Freddy vs. Jason is one of my favorites, along with The Conjuring. What little I've seen of FD was pretty interesting. I also enjoy the Child's Play/Chucky the doll films, admittingly, and I couldn't refuse a good killer clown/doll, zombie, or werewolf flick either. The main horror movie icons such as Micheal Myers, Ghostface, Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, etc. are all fine too. Generally I'm pretty okay with most types of horror films, except aliens, most demon/devil/hell/Satan stuff, and pointless/overdone porn and/or torture (Hostel anyone?).

Side note: It's nice to talk to someone who's also a fan of horror flicks on here! As far as I know, clearly there's not too many fans of that on a forum dedicated to games like Spyro and Skylanders smilie

^ Wow, that is crazy. Warwick Davis was so hilarious! One of my favorite parts of the series was from Leprechaun 2, when he gets high and has the munchies, and raids the one guy's refrigerator. It's so funny when he eats the butter, I don't even.. The whole scene makes me die with laughter! smilie

Child's Play scared me as a kid sooo much.. I just think dolls are creepy in general, however I did see the new Annabelle movie and I have to say.. that movie genuinely got me tense and my heart pounding... And normally, horror movies don't do that to me. But Annabelle is a very female audience targeted movie, or a very soft guy-targeted movie (my boyfriend went to see it with me, and even he was freaking out xD) because putting a baby and a woman at risk... it makes those feelz real! smilie
Yeah, I love the horror genre, it's my favorite. We should chat sometime together. :3

I can totally relate to more than one thing you said.

1. Warwick Davis is amazingly hilarious.

2. Dolls are really ****ing creepy.

3. Annabelle had me tense. I cannot stand it when babies are in dangerous situations.

Yes today is 10/19/2014 which is 12 days till me and Tori go to a Haunted House for a Halloween date. It is also 2 days before the U.S. gets the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Demos. Also today is 7 or so days till the Shiny Gengar code expires. Finally it is Sunday which means tomorrow is a school day

As of this post of course.

Haha, yeah, I love that scene too (how could the guy not even hear him? Seriously!), even though I don't care much for the movie as a whole smilie But I have to admit that the whole movie does have some pretty so-stupid-it's-funny kind of scenes, usually involving drugs like that smilie

CP frightened me as a kid too, though surprisingly enough I was more scared of clown dolls than just creepy dolls (grandmother had one... Scared the crap out of me!). I'm glad to hear that Annabelle is just as intense and creepy as it looks, haha. I hope I get to see it soon, it sounds pretty great.
It's probably my favorite too. And sure, I'd like that! smilie
