Who thinks Buzz is Flynn's long lost father? I mean, it's been heavily implied several times through the story, even their personalities are similar.

... Never thought of that.

yeh, i was thinking the same before i got the game, i thought buzz might have been his mentor or teacher, but from the dialogue they've never met, so i the next logical relationship is father, or at least same tribe or whatever mabu live in

Was it said explicitly in a prior game that Flynn lost/never knew his father? Or is that just us fans plugging in our own theories? And Buzz is also voiced by Patrick Warburton, right?

Funny, it didn't dawn on me until watching the opening cutscenes that Flynn is also a Mabu, just bigger than the rest of his species.

Yeah, thought so as soon as we saw him in the game. I'm 100% sure he's his dad.

Cali even noted that there was something familiar about Buzz before Flynn himself pointed some personality traits about Buzz, that is very like his own.

Another theory I had before finishing the game (which now that I've finished it, it sounds ridiculous). Time travel has played an important role in TT, what if Buzz was older Flynn in a time paradox?

I waaaay prefer the father theory though.

Or maybe a grandpa.

Don't have ANY idea, about Flynn's age.

Except this was pointed out by Cali in the game, and between certain conversations between Flynn and Buzz.

I'd say there's substantial evidence behind this theory to make it my headcanon.

I'd have loved if Buzz had turned out to be a villain all along, but that was a bit too much of an awesome twist to hope for.

I'll admit there are quite a few similarities between the two, such as liking enchiladas, but I'm not gonna believe it unless it's officially confirmed.

Bear in mind the Chompy Mage likes Enchiladas too, so that's a fairly flimsy link I'm afraid, plus Kaos was noted to enjoy Enchiladas too.

As for Buzz/Flynn? All I can say is "BOOM(sticks)!"

Yes! It would have been silly, but a fun ending. Especially considering he was the one who knew exactly where you should go, what you should do, for a huge portion of the game. He could have easily done the Kaos thing.

When I got to learn more on Buzz my first thought was that he was really Flynn but from the the and went back in time by somthing (or someone) and changed his name and said nothing about himself from the future in order prevent some time paradox from happening.
But him being Flynn's dad is also cool.

Either one would work. I feel there is "a" relationship between the two, but it seems in terms of progressing the characters into a path seems like something they aren't willing to do.
