Toy Code Display in Trap Team

Swap Force introduced the capability of viewing the toy's unique code. Does Trap Team also use this important feature for those who may have lost the code stickers (or buy toys used that don't have them)?

Yup, I think it's in the Manage section of the Skylander Stats screen, right next to the Ownership and Reset options. I'll check in a bit, but I definitely saw it.

This feature was actually introduced in SSA, so I highly doubt it's not in TT, though I don't have it yet.

Its not in the first 2 games (the code in the first 2 game was not the toy code at all) the code in the first 2 games was a hat code (the hat code was a code you could use to unlock the hat your skylander was using in Skylander universe). The hat codes no longer do any thing now that Skylander univers is closed down. Skylanders Swap Force replaced the hat code with the Toy code (the toy code is the ID number of the chip in your skylander toy, and no 2 skylanders toys in the world have the same toy code)

^ That is where you are wrong, you could use them in sku but also in the apps like lost islands, it would unlock the actual chracter so yeah...

Nope the codes from first 2 games don't work in lost islands. The codes from swap force and trap team do work in lost islands. I have tried, and even talked to Activision about it.

The codes from the first 2 games are not even the right amount of digits to use in lost islands...

I can tell you they work in cloud patrol as I have it, I used lost islands as an example because it's a more popular app, I don't actually have lost islands yet so thanks for the tip!

I just checked it, it's so wierd, I've never thought they would use two different codes. It's also kind of silly that you cannot check the "toy code" in early games, I'm glad they did that in SF.

Yep, the code in the first game was for you to exchange the experience you had in Skylanders Universe and pass it back into the game. It was called "Hero Level" in the manage stats screen. Just look at the toy boxes where they touted you can play in the game AND your computer. They removed support for this in Giants. RIP Universe.

The actual toy code that was printed on the stickers did not show up in game until Swap Force.

Thanks for confirming this very important feature was there.

Question: do the Sidekicks/Minis display a toy code now? I have a Whisper Elf from the Frito-Lay promotion that I lost the physical code for, and would like to use her in Lost Islands.

I would think that this toy code feature is global in nature, so the answer "should be" yes; however I'll defer to someone who has actually tried it and can confirm.
