See the thing is
Dora is?? Kinda pretty in the remake but,,, at the same time, it's really "conventional" attractiveness and it kinda makes her unrecognizable and the show itself is so bland and unoriginal (I babysit and the kids watch it all the time >.>)
Like, no Boots, no Swiper, no jungle, no talking animals or magic. She lives in a city with her human friends. The map is on an iPhone now. No backpack. It ?? Takes away what was magical and cool about Dora while also making her "pretty" and it's just so eughh

As for Veggietales GOD they look scary and awful. I don't know anything about the show itself. They just are terrifying. Even more so than they used to be tbh

And then Bob the Builder just......................................

Are we all implying that Bob didn't look just a little dead eyed like the new one? I dunno it's not a good change but it also doesn't seem that awful or far off from the original.

And Dora's design makes sense. She grew up and now hangs around with the Planeteers.

Actually, now that I've officially seen Bob, I can say that he doesn't really look that bad. Sure, he now has those white things in those eyes (scleras), but it's not that bad.
