Gearshift comes out in Australia in 2015. Is she worth waiting for or should I get Jawbreaker as my trap master instead?

To me, jawbreaker is a real warhammer 40k" deff dread" (it speaks to the fans).
Without upgrades, he's really disapointing but fully upgraded it's a frenzy killing machine
very fun to play.

And honnestly, I haven't still tried gearshift.

GearShift requires more strategy and is a fun character with a variety of moves
Jawbreaker is a lot faster and more powerul than gearshift but until you upgrade him he's SOO boring

Gearshift. I think that Jaw Breaker is boring even when he is fully upgraded. I like how Gearshift has a variety of attacks and the one where she shoots the gear is a much faster attack.

Jawbreaker is so basic and is just an upgraded Wind-Up.

I SO want to disagree with you...

but I can't.

I love Jawbreaker's look and personality, but his game play is extremely one dimensional, charge up, run into fray to do spinning attack, and mash on punch. It's repetitive and more importantly, it wil lget you KILLED at higher difficulties as he's mostly offense, has to stay in melee range, and he doesn't have any type of combo with mitigation put in like 'launching in the air' or knocking back...he just keeps punching until either him or something else dies.

Gear**** feels pretty complete out the box really, upgraded or no she plays pretty much the same. She has variety and lets you play 'smart'. But she doesn't IMO look as good as Jawbreaker.

Agreed Jawbreaker looks cool but in his case looks are deceiving haha. It always cracks me up when Gearshift is in her "sword" attack how she is hunched over...I call it her "Cave Woman Look"

It's true Jawbreaker can speed up and is powerfull overall, but i think his gameplay is pretty lame
Overall it stays the same and he doesn't really have a ranged attack so he'll probably get hit fast
While Gearshift is very cool to play as
Her different variants of attacks need some practise to controll but if you can play with her, then she's a great character
She also has a ranged attack, and it feels like she has four attacks:
the hoop mode
the dual mode the fragment mode
and the last thing when she rolls over enemies with her gear

+1 Gearshift. I'd even say Jawbreaker was a downgraded Wind-Up!

That would be up to you to decide which of the two Tech Trap Masters you like the most. As for me, I choose to play and keep Gearshift because she's very versatile, agile, and strong.

I like Jawbreaker okay... He's kind of a take it or leave it guy for me. I don't have Gearshift yet, but from what I hear, she's a lot of fun to play with! I guess I'm saying I'm expecting Gearshift to be way better than Jawbreaker.

Gearshift! Her versatility and agility is amazing!

Anyway, I think Jawbreaker is better design wise, and Gearshift is better gameplay wise. Pick whatever you find more important in a Skylander.

Looks like gearshift it is then.

I got her from Amazon pre-ordering. She's definitely fun to play as.

Ghazkul dissaproves. Due to the lack of goff boy markings.

Man, last night I put in some time with her, first time since posting in this thread really - and I noticed that hunch look and couldn't stop thinking about it now haha.
