Wait, customer equipment is banned, but custom characters are okay? So basically, I can only customize my characters smash attacks? Thats kind of lame, tbh. I know some people will equip strength badges and roll with that, but hell, its their character and how the strategize them.

Not allowing custom equipment really nullifies some characters in this game, because, well, a lot of them blow.

I understand this may be a way to stop people from abusing Little Mac and equipping strength...but there are a lot of ways to counter and wreck the living hell out of Little Mac players.

To me, this is a little unfair. Just my two cents.

I feel like equipment affects battling, as you'll never know what your up against until you are in the battle unless they say it outright. Custom moves are similar, but I allow them because they can be memorized, something that equipment doesn't allow. You can see that the Mac your up against has a custom Side Special, but you won't ever know that the same Mac has a combination of Equipment that makes him more powerful as a result.

Err, yeah....no thanks.

Yeah, sorry, not joining. I don't have a stable internet connection for my 3DS. And since it doesn't have a LAN Adapter like the Wii U, I'm out of luck. No Global Smash Power for me. <.>

If Little Mac gets knocked off the stage then he's ****ed.

Mac is only good on Final Destination, and even then, his Side B can cause him to kamikaze leap into the bottom of the screen (which I've personally done over 5 times already).

I don't really see a problem with Mac, he's very strong, but if you knock him off the stage he can be dealt with pretty quickly.

The only characters I think have a shot at that are Lucario, Zero Suit Samus, and Rosalina & Luma (especially these two, as there is so much to discover compared to other characters).

Lucario's Aura Effect is crazy in this game, partly because of the fact that every character in this game has a mini version of it called the "Rage Effect" (the more damage you take, the more launch power you have). So combine Aura with Rage, and Lucario is devastating in the right hands. Lucario can basically spam neutral and side B all day when he's at really high damage, since they get ridiculously big.

Couple that with this game's much bigger blast zones, and Lucario is actually going to spend quite a bit of time at max Aura level.

How do you guys think we should organize this, the list of participants is almost done. So how should we get together and do the tournament.

My idea is that the two fighters going against each other will choose a stage using Stage Striking, than battle in an online room that follows the rules. After that we chronicle that fight and move on to the next two fighters, repeat until the winner is found.

Are there any other ideas?

You mean like a normal tournament right? Someone could create a bracket with a random generator system

Sounds good. Also,are last minute character changes allowed? I found out that Dark Pit is powerful,so I might switch to him.

Sure, I can change you to that. After today though, everyone is stuck with their characters and there will be no more added participants.

Perhaps we should make it a best 2 out of 3 system as well?

I like that idea, but I think we should keep that for the Final battle. It might take a bit too long for everyone to do it that way.

I'm thinking Double elimination too, just to give everyone a fair shot. Also it's just more fun in my opinion to do it that way.
