Yes, the Legendary Trap is real.

It looks way cooler than any other Trap. Definitely using that to capture Wolfgang, especially since it is of the Undead element.

I dunno... It looks cool, but I'm not a big fan of TRU's price markups. I probably won't buy it.

It's part of the micro fun pack, or whatever it's called, so you will likely get your money's worth if you're interested in the comics. As well, much will be on sale during the release.

As long as I comparing the prices and figures from TRU with other retail stores like Target or Walmart, I don't have to be too frivolous. I still intend to get the Legendary Traps, however.

Im sure knowing toysrus they will make a ton of these and they will be on sale soon enough

Well, I'm not a collector, and my closest TRU is a ways away, so I rarely go there anyways. Maybe if I pop in there and they have a good deal, I'll get it, like I did with Legendary Free Ranger. Like I said, I don't strive to own every figure or even try most of the time.

I'll get this. I love variants. I'm always bummed if I dont get a variant.

the legendary trap actually look worth getting...

I do hope that this comes to the UK, that trap is probably the best one of the lot.

(So hopefully that doesn't mean I'll be forced to submit to eBay sellers to get it...)

(As a Portal Master, though, I'm thinking along the same lines, too.)

Because it's Jawbreaker-themed, Arc. He has traptanium fists, wouldn't be surprised if he got a big chunk of raw ore and beat it into a Undead Skull since he was bored or some other silly story.

Besides the Undead Skull, which other two sculpts do you want to be Legendary? I choose Water Orb and Life Torch.

There is no water orb...

Any idea when this comes out? My Toys-R-Us had no clue what it is.

The last info that I saw about this that had any sort of release information in it said early November. As TRU tends to release new Skylanders items on either Sunday or Tuesday, I would put the release of the mini comics (and associate legendary trap) at 11/2 or 11/4. At this time, though, I don't think there's been any 100% confirmation of the release date.

i guess they are gonna sneak it out and dont tell about it. so people accidentally just find it on pure luck...

Perhaps these will be like the legendaries last year and the exclusive infinity power discs. The big toy book had them listed to be released weekly so people had a reason to go to TRU every week before Black Friday.

All three micro comic packs are street dated in the TRU computer.

After some digging around, I believe I've discovered what the three Legendary Traps are going to be:

Legendary Water Trap - Flood Flask
Legendary Undead Trap - Spirit Sphere
Legendary Undead Trap - Spectral Skull

It seems a bit odd that there'd be two legendary Undead traps and only one in another element, though. O_o

Eh, the traps seem a bit overpriced and I'm guessing that this will be no exception, it'll probably even be more.

It seems that the micro comic fun packs will be $10, which honestly isn't bad for Toys R Us

That seems like to much to me. Ten bucks for a trap and a tiny little comic? Not trying to be all negative, I just don't see how it's worth it.

Well comics retail for $4-$8 these days so a trap and a comic for $10 is not bad. (The transformers mini comics are like $4-$5 each).

Thanks for the info, Wolfgang. Not to thrilled about another jughead trap, its one of my least favorite designs.

Have we gotten any news on what the traps contain in them?

Well, I was looking on the Activision Support site to see if I could get a portal that my Granite Crusher and Legendary Bouncer worked on, but then I was curious and looked at what traps there were, and I saw the those three marked as available in a Legendary variety.
