Well as some of you know the target sales add says that target is was going to have wave 2 today. But when I went there today they had none even after looking in the back. Has any one found any wave 2 at target today?

The target I went to had one box of the wave 2 trap masters.

I just came back from Target and the guy didn't even know what I was talking about. After showing and explaining it to him, the guy said nothing ever came in. He never went to check and it came off as though he wasn't too interested in continuing the conversation beyond his idea that the game just came out and so nothing new should be here anyway.

I checked 3 Targets this morning, no wave 2.

Stopped in TRU shortly after 10 and found Tread Head and Series 3 Jet Vac, plus a few wave 2 traps. They also had Fist Bump and all 3 Trap Masters (which i was able to get on Tuesday.)

I rechecked 2 of the Targets on the way home, still nothing. Target blows.

I just got home from checking my 2 local targets nothing on my end either... curse you target. I'm just trying to locate the last couple traps of wave 2 that my TRU didn't have. Have all the trap masters and cores as well as M.O.M. currently of whats been released.

Regardless of how small the ad was... still false advertising and wasted my gas running there... target is like a 20 min trip for me... so I'm rather annoyed

I already got all of the W2 stuff at TRU, but I just got back from my local Target for other errands and I saw all of the W2 Trap Masters and Cores here.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Activision is anticipating lower sales numbers, as the inventory seems VERY light this go around.

Its the traps that are light in my area....can't find water axe , air hourglass, and kaos trap...ended up getting em eBay for a fair price! Also no wave 2 at target in my area also...

^Yeah wave 2 traps are light. I've not seen any wave 2 traps outside of the TRU wave 2 launch...and they disappeared within an hour of opening.

Not sure if you guys have noticed, but Amazon isn't getting into the trap biz this year outside of triple packs. Must be too much of a headache to manage.

The headache is Activision's doing. There is nothing on the packaging to distinguish one water trap from another. Do you really think Amazon wants a bunch of angry customers because they got a log holder instead of a tiki? How hard would it have been to write Water Tiki Trap on the packaging? Probably didn't want to confuse parents, but made it harder for companies to sell the exact ones on-line.

One thing I've noticed....that traps are not marked as to what type of trap they are (hand,axe,ect.) making it impossible to call a local retail store and ask if they have a specific trap in stock...they are clueless with a name tag...let along nothing to identity them other then trap it self!

I found Lob Star at Target in the next town over yesterday, but my Target had nothing new in stock today. In fact, it seemed like they restocked series 1 and Nitro Krypt King.

Has anyone actually found the Mirror of Mystery at Target yet?

Went out today and for the most part found nothing. Target, Walmart and Gamestop were all a bust today. However I did find new Trap Masters at Best Buy! I looked for Mirror of Mystery also. They didn't have any on the shelves but I was able to pick one up from the store today after ordering it online.

What sucks about all of this is that Toys R Us is the only true go to place for figures but they are also the highest by a buck or two per figure. I'm trying my best to buy the majority of my stuff from Best Buy to get my 20% per figure and trap with the GCU.

Actually, it is a two year membership fee. It is normally 120 bucks for 2 years but it often goes on sale for 60 bucks. Also, you are supposedly limited to 3 copies per title. Just think how that might make your membership quite a bit cheaper. I was lucky enough to get a coupon on inception of the program and got two years for 30 bucks instead of the normal 120 bucks. Regardless, if you buy a lot of games and Skylanders then it is worth what you pay for it. I have been told it also works for PC software but I don't buy PC games so I can't confirm that out of personal experience.

Walmart is jacked up! Says preorder today and it will ship 12/31/2014, then right under says pick up in store as soon as today!

My nearest Target had.. one Bushwhack, one Head Rush, and two Lob Stars. They supposedly had more in the back, but the boxes all go by the exact same DCPI.

yeah i checked when i was working yesterday and we didnt have anything set aside for today, nor did we even have anything skylanders related backstocked. Unless we got a shipment in last night with them i doubt there are any there though i will check when i stop in in a bit. Not too concerned, they will all eventually make their way through my store <.< i can wait for the few traps i am missing

The nearest Target, TRU, Best Buy, or Gamestop is over an hour away! I ordered the wave 2 characters that I wanted as soon as they became available online, eventhough I am planning on makin a trip tomorrow I just didn't figure it was worth wasting the extra gas looking for the ones I wanted at 4 different stores.

Didn't they have a different sku for each trap type, or is that the point---they used the same sku--one for each element?

There's one UPC/SKU per element; all trap molds for that element have the same UPC, regardless of wave.

My Target had a single box of W2 Trapmasters in the back. They found it after I asked about it. No non-trapmasters or Mirror set.

I found the Mirror of Mystery Adventure Pack and the Wave 2 Cores at my Target today.

No sign of the Trap Masters though.

Every time my Target locations get new figures, they seem to put them out the day before the flyer. This wave was no exception, but oddly I called Thursday and they claimed "we won't be putting them out till Sunday for the ad". Luckily, I called and went in Saturday as there were only like 2-3 of each trapper (no sign of traps or cores).
