I'm a big fan of Lob Star and his play style. I hope they make a variant of him that's rock themed.

There's a known Winter-themed variant of him called Winterfest Lob-Star.

Well, Spyro has a Dark and a Legendary counterparts...
And Trigger Happy also has a Legendary version, along with the Springtime one, even if it's S3 related.

So, who knows...
Maybe in Lost Islands, or as a not in-game variant (since all the variants have been leaked, for Trap Team). smilie

When SSA was made, they created 2 variants of Spyro because dark Spyro already existed. Ever since Giants, there had never been 2 varients of the same figure (I mean in that ONE game). There had also never been a repose of the gimmick characters. Better get painting if you want that variant!
Btw I also love smilie he's my favorite trap master!

Again, Fright Rider - GitD and Halloween.
Wash Buckler - Dark and Metallic.
Trigger Happy - Spring Time and Flocked Spring Time.
Hot Dog - Green, Red and Purple.
Fire Kraken - Gold and Jade.

It happens. Besides, trying to use past figure releases to determine future patterns has proven to be pretty fruitless in the past.

Of course he was the only wave 2 character that WASN'T at my TRU along with the MoM AP, but at least Bushwhack is really fun.

His Winterfest appearance is my favorite of the two, coupled with his stance it reminds me of a Power Rangers villain from the original series (he turns gold to boot when he overheats smilie)

Lobstar is best Skylander omg. I've been plowing through the Chaos tower mini game thing with him...I love it!

Rock Lob Star makes loads more sense than Winterfest Lob Star. Did they just throw a dart at the character poster when deciding on some of these variants?

This character could well be my new favorite skylander, (it's been double trouble since he came out nearly 3 years ago) and I am amazed by how great this character looks and how he plays. Will definitely pick up his variant when it becomes available. Not really fussed about chase variants, only in game variants.

I also think he looks great, I was very surprised how big he is. I already liked Wham Shell, what's not to like about his bigger, meaner older brother?

Prism Break has always been my favorite (Terrafin close second), but I'm glad the didn't repose them again.

Also remember that most incarnations of the game can be updated. So, how hard could it be to add skylanders to the game via DLC? Maybe not practical, but possible.
