I went into TRU today after getting the last of the money from my old job put into my bank account today. I decided to pick up a few figures before I start playing Trap Team and was browsing the two Skylander sections. In the one, I saw they had some SSA figures they hadn't had before and there I saw it: Wham Shell. I haven't been able to find a decently priced SSA Wham Shell since I started playing back with Giants and I've been looking! Best part was that I scooped him up for $3 with the sale! They also had one single of Prism Break, Stealth Elf and Sonic Boom on the shelves, which I hadn't seen in my area until today. I wonder where they dug these up from.

I was hoping my luck would lead me to a Boomer. Alas... it wasn't to be.

I'm pretty convinced Sunburn, GR and Boomer will never see a repose.

Sad but most likely true. I was just hoping to find an SSA packaged one since I figured I'd never see an SSA packaged Wham Shell on a TRU shelf around here.

Funny thing i actually found the same at a tru by me the other day and bought prism break with whamshell. First whamshell ive seen mint since giants era. I did find 3 retaped ones like 3 months ago but left them. I plan to keep him as wham is a fav and gave my son the ssa prism cause he never had it as we got boomer used and voodoo d single.

Ok, so it's not just ours then. I did see a pair of the SSA Drill Sergeant single packs at two different TRUs in the area, so maybe boxes with some of these are kicking around the TRU circuit lately. I sure am keeping him next to the Darklight that I found at Target last September. A pair of lucky finds these days

I saw a bunch of the Wave 4/5 characters a few weeks ago. I actually found a Clear Stealth Elf in the mix.

I'm not giving up hope. VV seems to understand fan demand for certain characters, so we might see them reappear in Skylanders 5. They gave me hope when they decided to repose Wham-Shell and Warnado. Granted, I would have preferred them as Series 2 instead of Light Cores, but hey, at least it's something.
