Just a nifty little feature I noticed when using Drobot; if you're playing a character who's "special" ability is flight (Spyro, Cynder, Drobot etc.) you can double tap the jump button and they'll fly. I would assume it works with all the SSA flight characters and I've tested it with Jet-Vac so it'll probably work with any Giants/SSF characters that could fly too (though I can't actually remember any myself).
Just an interesting little feature I thought I'd bring to your attention if you didn't notice.

You can use it in characters that don't have "fly" as a special power as well in the new Skylanders - Chopper can do this, right from the start (it mentions it in his Soul Gem, but he doesn't need any upgrades to fly).

I really hope it applies to Sunburn, Flashwing and Scratch too, even though they did not have a dedicated flight button.

Phoenix Crystal is the best unreleased Crystal. Skylanders Academy Season 2 was an improvement. I don't know what to think of Skylanders' future. |

Nothing for Sunburn and Flashwing so I can assume there won't be anything for Scratch either

That is extremely disappointing. I was hoping they'd give them double-jump flight ever since Chopper was shown to fly simply by double-jumping, without it taking up any of the attack buttons. It's really a slap in the face when they give that upgrade to the characters who don't actually need it, while locking out those who would benefit from it.

You know, now that the game has patches, we might see some consistent gameplay changes, in the future. Quote: ninja9351

Well heck, that's pretty cool actually. Makes me think if they did this sooner the likes of Spyro and Cynder could've had a third attack.

What would be the point of having wings if they cannot fly in the games? Blades is one of them as well, not just Sunburn, Flashwing and Scratch. I also found out that High Five also cannot take flight despite having wings. Here's the link to where I discovered this - http://www.ghostroaster.com/fo...r-upgrade.477/. However, if High Five really can fly after tapping the jump button twice, then there might be hope.
