So I just be Kaos on Nightmare. Boy that was Brutal. Unlocked Arkeyan Bronze, Silver and Gold Hat also the Rainbow hat. Pepper Jack and Wolfgang were also annoying.

That may be true, I played the game one easy first with my sons then I did nightmare on my own so they all unlocked at once for me.

This game just became easy.

Before I beat KAOS the first time... on hard... I lost a metric ton of Skylanders. However, when I got KAOS myself to play as, I not only went through the entire chapter again as KAOS, without switching, I beat KAOS on hard without dying once. Basically takes KAOS to do it though.

I'm going to smoke him easily on Nightmare... without dying.

How much damage did Kaos do to Kaos on hard?

So is Trap Team like Giants and you need to make a new file or is Trap Team like Swap Force and you can toggle Nightmare once it is unlocked?

About 600 a hit. Still a slow process to chip away his damage, but it's a great feeling to beat KAOS on hard mode without dying, thus needing to resort to easy/medium just to get the no lives lost accolade.

However, one needs to learn his symbol cycle in order to beat him, because the Magic Icon he throws down gives him a full timer/health bar. So, I cycled through Magic/Undead Icons to kill him. I basically spammed Magic Icon and let everything he threw at me, hit me, and then when I saw the chance to strike I switched to Undead and let loose on him.

It's like Giants where it requires a separate file for Nightmare Mode.

Just beat him on hard with changing skylander or using a villain as I'm not sure if using a villain counts as switching.

On Hard Dodging a shark will give you +25 health on Nightmare +8. Getting hit by a shark on hard will do 50 damage on Nightmare it's 500. On nightmare you can get hit 2-3 times on hard you get hit heaps. Lasers/circles do 300 to 400 on nightmare while on hard it's less than a 100. Also if you get hit with the wrong Elemental bullet it will wipe your lander/villain out in 1 hit.

I had evolved Kaos when I played nightmare. E.Kaos would do around 100 damage to Kaos and most lvl.20 Skylanders were only doing 30 damage. Nightmare was leagues above hard.

Your collection works across save files so you won't have to load your collection in again for the nightmare file.

I had a hard enough time with him on easy mode, I'm afraid to try nightmare! DX

Does the entire file need to be beaten on that difficulty, or just the final level? I played on Hard for a good chunk of the game, but after playing the Future level I decided to bump down to Medium, because I wanted to finish it quicker to unlock Nightmare mode.

You'll have to start a new save to select nightmare.

I know, I was asking about my non-Nightmare file.

EDIT: Okay, I just confirmed that it doesn't matter what difficulty you did most of the run in, the hats you get at the end depend on the difficulty you beat the Final Boss on.
Also, I just confirmed that you can tag between Skylanders and Villains during the Final Boss and get the "Don't Switch" goal completed.

Is is possible to get Nightmare mode back even with all game files opened? Should I erasing either one of them in order to get Nightmare mode back?

Hats, or hat? I started a Nightmare file, and all of my Legacy Hats have to be entered into the game again. I assume you mean the Rainbow Hat? If that's the case, that makes sense.

I don't know if I'll try on nightmare... I finally beat Kaos on hard yesterday. I also found the Skylander that survived the most was Drobot. Until, y'know, he died too. I have about 50 Skylanders and I think about 30 of them died. It was painful.

If you get used to the patterns, he's not impossibly hard. I can get him to his final phase with only Bumble Blast, and before long, I will be putting up a video of me defeating him with only BB (a single one, not all 3 lol). Theres only a small amount of skylanders who can actually hold a chance to him, as melee characters are literally useless against him on Nightmare. Offhand, only characters who deal a high ranged dps, or have ranged homing attacks can go 1v1 with Nightmare TT Kaos (off hand I can think of Zoo Lou, Bumble Blast, Drobot/bit, Pop Thorn, Hoot Loop and Chopper all of which I've tested, and can hold their own).

is the 10 speed max for hat stats??...

why couldt it be something like this +45 hit/+35 armor/+15 speed or something... we need speed.
