Kinda starting to feel like having a trappable Kaos was a mistake - looks like if he's playable in future Skylanders games that he's so incredibly overpowered that it would trivialize the games by removing all challenge. I'm now starting to wonder if I should not buy his Trap this coming Sunday after all...

Heres a WAAAAYYY better one (it requires chomp chest) In the very beginning of soda springs, there is a hidden chest that chomp chest can access, dig it up,reset chapter, rinse, repeat

It's the truth or at least I thought it was. Still not a cheat and misleading topics are defiantly frowned upon.

I'm ok frowning in silence. I think everyone is looking for a money cheat, and this is a benefit to the community.

Yah, this is my video. It's more of an exploit, but I thought it worked pretty well.

this dont look like a money cheat or exploit... its more like someone that play the game in a very smart way.. i would call this a 'game tip' on how to play.

Its an indirectly a cheat because you're usimg Kaos longer than the developers expected even though it was technically designed in the game.

Whatever...it can be called a puppy tails adventure for all I care...all I'm saying is that every year the need to find a way to "make money fast" is a conversation that always comes up. Therefore, to "talk down" on it is kinda amusing.

That's precisely what I do for any new Skylanders I play. This is a much better way to earn a lot of money and level up at the same time. The same goes with playing the very last of Kaos' Doom Challenges. Since large enemies are very common in them, it'll be easier to rake in more victory points and money. But to do so, you must have the evolved Kaos already captured inside the Kaos Trap (original or Ultimate).

I used Brock's Challenges a lot in Giants as a way to level up. Makes sense it's the "go to" this time around. What's interesting though is that no one has mentioned a "war chest" that appears after the end of the game in the hub (like in Giants) or something similar we could take advantage of.

Is there nothing like this in the game?

Not true at all. I venture to guess that TFB developed KAOS to be mastered. Those who are good with KAOS can go through the entire game with him, only needing to switch to Trap Masters to open gates or when you want to buy moves for other characters.

If they didn't intend on KAOS being played that long, they wouldn't have -

1: Made the Magic Icon replenish his timer.
2: Allowed for the manual switching of elements.

Personally, I only play as KAOS now. This game makes me want to play as new villains in each new game.

Speaking of playing as villains, It would be cool if the next game was KAOS Alliance and there were toys of the villains, as they team up with the Skylanders to battle an even bigger threat.

GM78, my thoughts on the next game. The unfortunate part of this is that I think they constrained THIS GAME by not putting out molds of villlains and putting timers because they didn't WANT them to be the "star" of the game...well DUH! then why build an entire game around the villains?

Although logically I agree with you, I would argue if they wanted to do that this game they would've done so. If they do villain molds in the future, it will be several games down the road. Too much on villains would be their reason.

I'm personally waiting for a two-part game where half the game is played by the villains, and the second half is played by the skylanders---with old fashioned figure toys!
