I really wish they would just stop sending people overseas to get treated. The outbreak in most of the countries would probably never have happened if they sent doctors to the victims, rather than the other way around.
I'd come with you, but how would I find you? Say, can I just teleport to the Dragon Realms? I think it gets lovely this time of year, with war being gone and all.

Honestly if you ask me sure it's a big deal to Humanity and the possible end to civilization if there isn't a cure for the "virus" as in virus there can be a cure but most aren't curable, you have to wait it out. If you want to stop this from spreading block of Africa's land borders, ports, and airports for a time period of about 6 months and isolate the people who still have Ebola. Then take all diseased patients to the isolation unit until all traces of Ebola have been eraticated. Just like Birds flu

Vaccines work by inserting an inactive harmless form of a particular virus (in this case) so your immune system attacks, recognizes it and stores the particular "pattern" on the virus in memory B and T cells without harming you. So in the future if your're infected with the harmful form of the same virus, your immune system can mount an efficient, stronger and faster immune response before the virus invades host cells and causes symptoms.
However, if the virus has mutated (which can happen very quickly in viruses) the strain you were given in the vaccine becomes useless against this new invader.
For the people worrying, it's good to be cautious. Like the saying "it's better to be safe than sorry." And for the those who aren't, don't slack off too much, but don't become paranoid.
Anyone know the history of HIV/AIDS? The world was in panic due to the unknown cause, method of infection and no cure. At least with Ebola we almost know the cause, how it's transmitted and if caught extremely early, there is over a 50% chance of survival. So don't be too grim about it.
