Preferred Trap Master for each Element (for those that have tried both)

While I'm still seriously considering NOT unlocking everything this year, past experience has shown I'm a sucker when it comes to Skylanders, so just in case, for those that have had a chance to play both Trap Masters for a particular element, which one would you recommend for each element, and why?

So for ones out now:

Gearshift or Jawbreaker?

Head Rush or Wallop?

And for ones that you'd need some kind of early access (E3 or sneak previews or hacking or whatever):

Krypt King or Short Cut?

Wildfire or Ka-Boom?

Bushwhack or Tuff Luck?

Gusto or Thunderbolt?

Blastermind or Enigma?

Don't really care about Lob-Star, I'm sure he's awesome but game already comes with Snap Shot so he gets eliminated by default, there's no either-or purchase with him for preferred Water Trap Master.

Also, if you just want to give your opinion based on what you've seen or heard or whatever, that's great, but please specify if you have actually PLAYED both of them or are just speculating based on videos and move lists and stuff. As we all know by now, often the Skylanders that turn out to be the most fun in the game are not the ones that looked that interesting initially, and vice versa. Those of us that can't afford to "collect them all" are especially thankful for the opinions of those that have actually played them, so thanks in advance!

Have you played them or is this just your opinion from their looks/videos/etc? Can you give any reasons for these preferences?

I have played with Gearshift, Wallop, Krypt King, Wildfire, Bushwack. I have the feelings that they are extremely nice with damage and health. Thunderbolt and Blastermind are out of personal opinion.

Gearshift: Love her Ability to be ranged and Up-Close. Her Dual Mode is very powerful and extremely better than Jawbreaker
Krypt King: Love his sword combos and his attacks which can be used as ranged and up-close
Wildfire: Really good defense and love his chain of fire attack
Bushwack: One Word: Timber!
Wallop: Tantrum Mode is just OP

Sad cause smilie is clearly the better Trap Master. As for the others, I'd say

I would have to say...

Gearshift
Head Rush
Krypt King
Wildfire
Tuff Luck
Thunderbolt (I don't really care for either)
Enigma
Snap Shot

I've played with all but Tuff Luck, Thunderbolt, and Enigma of my list... so those are based on appearance alone. so far Gearshift is my favorite in terms of usage, she wasn't at first, attacks were awkward but after upgrading I enjoy her more. I generally just don't use the trap masters. I was the same way with giants and swappers... I just prefer core figures and now the minis. I like to have general challenge to the game and using overpowered trap masters isn't much fun.

Can't decide between Wallop or Head Rush though, haven't played as either of them.

Hmmm...

What we're getting:

Snapshot
Wildfire
Gusto
Bushwhack
Wallop
Krypt King
Jawbreaker
(whichever magic skylander comes out first)

What I personally like the most, based on appearances alone:

Lob Star
Kaboom
Gusto
Bushwhack
Wallop
Short Cut
Jawbreaker
Enigma

Dark starter pack and release dates really put a crimp on the style...LOL...My kid likes them all except for the girl ones...so I'm just going for getting what I need ASAP and ending this hunting stuff. Last year broke this camel's back. I've got most of the list now, which is nice.

All that's left to buy is one of each undead and fire traps...magic element trapmaster...3ds starter and mirror of mystery...(and whatever is needed out of light/dark, apparently)

So hopefully a soon-to-be goodbye to hunting. Big money no whammies with a hopefully soon release of mirror of mystery and a magic trapmaster.
