I know all I have to do is not watch what I see on youtube, and trust me, I'll keep myself from spoiling the game for myself, it's just I feel bad for anybody else who is getting spoiled of the gameplay because of people like skylander dad and coinoptv, I mean I jus think it's a bit unfair, especially when it's only a few days away from being released to everyone at this point, idk what do u guys think?

Everyone who sees those videos are going to know they contain spoilers. If they're too dense to figure out that an extensive gameplay video might have spoilers and they watch it and, omg, there are spoilers!...I have no sympathy for them whatsoever, because it's pretty dang obvious.

It could be worse. You could have people importing games month(s) early from Japan so they can start recording footage of it. There are already Bayonetta 2 walkthroughs up and don't get me started on the number of Westerners who have had Smash 3DS for weeks now. <.<;

Not to mention the huge leak that came out for Smash 3DS even before it came out in Japan, and depicted the US version too.

I saw Ghostrobo has a video or two up. I was like, really ghost? Couldn't wait 24 hours start a "walk-through"

Both skydad and coinoptv spoiled the ending of Trap Team and the final boss on day 1 when Australia were going to get their copies. It's like they just had to show everyone the biggest spoilers before their playthrough/walkthrough parts.

I only watch the lets plays and walkthroughs AFTER I beat the main game. I did the same with Pokemon Y and then watched ProJared's Nuzlocke and JWittz's playthrough. No one said you have to watch BTW to all.

The only thing that gets on my nerves is Youtube's 'Recommended video' links. Literally days after SF was released, I was searching classic Spyro videos to find out about a glitch. So what do they advertise to me? Skydad's final SF boss thumbnail at the top of the darn list. I wasn't even logged into my Google account, and my history/cookies were clear so it's not like they saw me even searching Skylanders in the first place.
It's hard not to get spoiled when that happens, especially when your country releases the game about a week later. I've literally had to stop watching Youtube vids right now until the game is released and I've completed it myself.

But yeah, watching playthroughs is certainly your own fault.

Oh man, RadSpyro is totally right about the spoilery thumbnails. A friend of mine who didn't even watch much Skylanders this week had the final boss one show up to him,and I almost ran into two of those from watching some trailers. It's just a jerk thing to do by putting the spoilered pictures in thumbnails(instead of 'FINAL BOSS!' 'EPIC!' or even a vague picture of the final level or something to compensate), even more rude if the game isn't out yet for every country. I was starting to respect Skydad for showing the news but not sticking everything in the thumbnail these last months,guess nothing changed.

He's been doing that a lot lately.

Quite a shame because he was so nice here before release and usually kept the news to his own threads.

But guess that a kid's game's plot doesn't matter because it's not deep enough, and the kids want the flashy plot twist, so who cares. /s
