Legendary Nightmare Express question

So I've bought both Nightmare Express and the Legendary version and I have not had the time to play Trap Team yet and won't until this weekend. I know that there is Legendary Blades and Legendary Hand of Fate and normal Blades and normal Hand of Fate, so my question is, is there a difference between the Nightmare Express and Piggy Bank toys with the ones that came in the legendary version? Thanks for any help!

No, the play piece and the Piggy bank are identical.

What does the Piggy Bank and Hand Of Fate piece do exactly? I haven't had time to play it yet, and can't find a video on anything Adventure Pack related.

As far as I know, only Blades and the Hand of Fate are different in the packs.
I've got the legendary edition so I'm not sure if it's the same, but the legendary hand of fate bonks enemies on the head for 360 damage. I would imagine the regular does the same but for less damage?
The Piggy Bank shoots coins out whenever an enemy is defeated. If you fight an Eye Scream, you can get loads of cash if you wait for them to spawn a ton of eyeballs. smilie

Does the inventory discern between the two?

I had the same question, as my son insisted we buy both.....I'm thinking why do we need both?? Just to have a different paint job?? He got the regular issue Blades from the 3-pack of figures, so I'm not seeing why we need the non-legendary version....I'm thinking, return!!!

Alrighty, glad I didn't buy two. I got a nonLegendary Blades through the 3 pack. Saved me $25.

the only thing unique in the regular nightmare express is the Hand of Fate.
So unless your after a white one instead of a gold one, don't bother.

The two HoF register as separate items.

OK, so technically if I find a cheap HoF with card/sticker online, fine...otherwise the other two do nothing in inventory.

yep, piggy bank and location toy are identical. like you say, the best bet is to grab a white HoF online, for those in the US anyway.

No more stupid then how they did the 2 cannons in giants... but yah it was very stupid.

on the plus side it looks like if you have 2 piggy banks they have different cool down timers so you can use both in 1 level.

My son wanted me to get both packs, but no way was I doing that. I remembered the cannons from Giants and it is exactly the same thing. Looking on eBay, you can get the regular HoF for $7-10. I may do that, but I'm not pressed.
