I thought the stores were opening at like 8am. The emails about wave 2 say nothing about opening early though. Anyone know if this is happening or not

The HTA email does not state anything about opening early. Gotta wait until 10:00AM to get your "Threadhead" ;-)

So my TRU Wave 2 trip was a success. Just me and 2 others, including an adorable Grandma who kept using the typo name "Threadhead"

There were plenty of Wave 2, which was nice to see.

Lol, dat Threadhead. Also, isn't the skull trap a different sculpt than what's shown?

Just got back from my TRU, got everything but one.

Wasn't the Kaos trap supposed to be in Wave 2? I know some people on here have found it, but we checked every Wave 1 and 2 box they had, and no sign of it... Anyone else have any luck?

It ships in a box with nothing but Kaos traps.

Did they have the adventure pack at your store?

Got the 3 trap masters, Head Rush / Lob Star / Bush Whack and 5 singles, Fryno / Pop Fizz / Jet Vac / Treadhead / Fist bump.

No Kaos Trap, no Mirror of Mystery. Any idea on when the Kaos trap box is/was supposed to ship, or what it's marked as?

I didn't see any adventure packs for mirror of mystery at either Toys R Us one in Charlottesville Virginia or Fredericksburg Virginia.

No new adventure packs for me either, are we sure its out? Seems odd to get both of the known packs in the same week.

I thought it was odd too, but Dark52 had MoM listed in the Wave 2 boxes.

Maybe Wave 2 will be staggered slightly, like waves 3+ were last year.

Just got back from TRU and got everything but Adventure Pack. I did not see any Kaos traps either. I wasn't concerned since I got the Kaos trap from another TRU on launch day.

The Kaos Trap is getting a wider release in a later wave, right? I've already got the ultimate version from the Dark Starter, I just want the normal version for my collection.

I got everything that was listed as wave 2.
Except there were no MoM packs and no Kaos Traps.

Had to go to 3 TRUs before finally finding Wave 2! Staff were generally pretty helpful, and the BOGO and trap deals really make it worthwhile to get them now. Getting all the traps is just an exercise in craziness, but the lists here really help!

Absolutely. You can't go get the traps without a list.

Our TRU just put all of their W1 and W2 stock out on launch day. Was quite the free-for-all.

Isn't it true that you only need one trap of each element? Or two if you wish to play co-op as a villain of the same element as a friend. Unless of course you wish to fill out that fancy case that TRU is selling.

TRU Wave 2 supply was very limited. None in the store at 6:00 PM when I arrived there today. Sales clerk said they were sold out before he arrived for his shift at 3 PM.

I went to a TRU at 1PM and had found one of everything in Wave 2, including one lone Kaos trap. Since I didn't have much money left to spend, I decided on Bushwack, Lobstar and Pop Fizz (which I had to ask a TRU employee about and they got Pop Fizz for me from the back). It almost seemed like they intentionally only put out one of each new figure on the shelf, and then restocked them when one set disappeared. If so, I'm ok that they did this since I was able to get everything I wanted.

I grabbed Lob-Star, Bushwhack, Head Rush, Legendary Jawbreaker, Fist Bump, Tread Head, a Kaos trap and 14 of the wave 2 traps. I apparently missed a 15th one that was supposedly released although I scoured everything they had as the boxes were opened.

Which one? I got the last Air Toucan trap, and had to ask for boxes in the back to score it.

Got all of Wave 2 at the 3rd store I went to. Others had no shipments in yet. They had split the traps - some were at the main display in front, and some were in an aisle. It was kind of nuts digging through them all as they were not always on separate pegs. Managed to get all 15, plus the Undead Orb that I missed during midnight release craziness. The ones that seemed most limited were the Water Angel and the Air Hourglass.

Went to TRU at 3PM. They hardly had any wave 3 traps out. Asked clerk if there was anymore stock as I was missing 6 traps. He came out of the stockroom with a shopping cart full of boxes. He helped me find the missing traps wihtout problem. He said hadn't seen any Kaos traps. He even went back to check when I said they were in a seperate box. Some moran in a cowboy outfit swore they weren't coming out till next year.

It was either that one or the air hourglass, I think. Not sure as I don't have my checklist with me to see which ones I did buy yesterday. I'll post again later after tonight's Pearl Jam concert.

Those are all Waves 1 and 2 (different than Series - which refers to how many re-poses they've had).

Damn, my TRU did not have any of the W2 Corelanders out on Tuesday. I was able to grab all 3 Trap Masters and all 15 traps though. I'll have to head back today and see if they were ever put out.

EDIT: They had them out today. Found Gearshift , too. I assume she was a Pre-Order leftover?

At my TRU, there are way more wave 2 figures out today then it had on Tuesday. A new shipment must have came in. Although, still no Mirror of Mystery or Kaos traps.

My TRU store is typically an exercise in near futility, and last Tuesday was no exception.

There were only two of us waiting for Wave 2 items when they opened. The only boxes the clerk in R Zone could find were four boxes of just Trap Masters. She told me that was everything. I asked her to please continue to check, as the Hot Toy Alert mentioned core figures, and she finally found one box of wave 2 core figures. The other guy there for wave 2 was looking for wave 2 traps, but she couldn't find any other boxes other than one box of wave 1 traps.

Since I bought all my wave 2 traps at launch (they put them out early), that TRU store was probably already sold out of wave 2 traps by Tuesday.

Whole ordeal took about 40 minutes.
