Honestly, the vast majority of middle school or often even high school dating is pointless.
Teens are almost all hypocritical, self-centered, narcissistic, unstable, sensually-obsessive messes. With very little concept of actual love at all.
But I seriously cannot understand celebrity crushes. That just doesn't register at all in my brain.

Nope (though I do watch anime, it's only because a. growing up in Asia, there's a certain familiarity and nostalgia to it for me, and b. I more or less ran out of decent western shows to watch). In fact I imagine I'm considered quite uncool. Not that I care.
