I was told that the WiiU was the lead (development) for Swap Force; i.e. the system that the game was developed on. It was then ported to the other systems. I suspect that information may have been correct, as it seems like the WiiU edition had the fewest bugs and/or glitches of the various platforms.
Does anyone know what the lead system was for Swap Force?
More in particular, I have a WiiU and a XBox One - any indications of which might be the better system to buy Trap Team for?
Thanks!

I believe it's the Wii U again. Skylanders often sides with Nintendo so it's not to surprising.

Hey is there anything you want me to bring for the rest of the week and if so it’s so cool that you can do something and just do it like that |

Wii, PS3 and 360 were all lead like in Giants. PS4, XBO and Wii U were all ports.

No, I know that isn't right - for Swap Force Beenox ported it from WiiU to Wii. In any case, what does anyone know about Trap Team? |

An article in Forbes said Beenox is handling PS4, XBone, and WiiU versions of Trap Team.

I thought I read somewhere that VV originally developed Swap Force on the 360, not the Wii U. :/ That would seem logical, since the 360 is the least powerful of the consoles (besides Wii, which Beenox handled) and when porting to the other consoles, they could build up from there.

Playing TT, the PS4 version feels very "porty", doesn't look quite as nice or polished as SF did on PS4.
I heard somewhere that it was Wii U, due to them developing some special things for use with the U gamepad?

Frankly, TfB's entry this year is a step down visually from VV. IMO of course.

I agree. I feel like the levels are way to small too.

Nah, you're absolutely right. Poor lighting and diffuse/disp maps specifically make it look like even more of a downgrade, plus the levels aren't very consistent in sticking to a colour palette (and I miss the clean-looking menus VV had as well). I'm flinching every time I see Flynn or Cali in a cutscene, their sculpted fur isn't particularly flattering.
