Well, seems the Knights were a bit indecisive when it came to voting. After time-expired and the self-votes were tallied we are left with a tie.

sP and Ash are the first to reach the finish and exit the cave, their path being one that led down a straight path through the cave.

"Thank you so much!" Ash happily smiles to sP then skips off to a tree house nestled just to the side of the cave's exit.

sP smiles and waves to her.

The two groups of Dmc & CAV and Cynderfan & EP come face to face, their caves intersecting and leading directly into one another. with another path going off to the side from the intersection.

"She did say the paths crossed each other at times, I suppose meeting up in here was bound to happen." CAV says.

"I think I see light ahead." Dmc points down the path to the side.

"Darn, I was kind of liking the dark." EP pouts.

The four walk down the path towards the exit together, eventually meeting together with 2 other teams who've already finished at the end, leaving only one team left.

Angel and Avatari walk around, feeling their way through the path that only seems to grow darker as they progress. Eventually, their hands touch smooth rock around them, having reached a dead end.

"Seems we were the unlucky ones. At least we haven't encountered any monsters, we just need to double back and pick another cave." Angel shrugs

The two start to head back the way they came, when a low rumbling starts through the cave.

"Maybe we should try to hurry...." Avatari says, uncertainly.

Their pace increases to a bit of a jog through the cave. The rumbling increases, as if it's chasing them. The ground below them starts to shake as well as the walls and ceiling. The quaking reaches a climax, with the cavern collapsing, making a cave-in. A portion of the ceiling falls directly on Angel, only her head and an arm sticking out. The holes in the ceiling allows some light in to see the cave. Avatari turns back and sees Angel.

"No! Angel!" She rushes back to her comrade and begins to try and dig her out, seeing her health bar slowly depleting.

The quaking starts to pick up again. "No, go on ahead." Angel says through shallow breaths.

Tears begin to form in Avatari's eyes. "No, I'm not leaving you." She pulls a few more rocks off, but the pile just seems to reshift burying her further.

"There's no time, go before we both get buried." Angel protests.

Avatari stops and looks at her, heart broken at the thought of losing another.

"Go!" Angel says one final time before her health bar reaches its end, her body shattering into pixel shards.

Avatari turns and runs through the cavern, trying to get out of there as soon as possible.

Frieven Village

Take Off

The village here seems to mimic those from the earlier floors, same generic design and layout that most towns within the game seem to carry over, cobblestone streets, simple but elegant brick houses. It feels safe nonetheless. Oddly, the town appears to be the only extents of the floor. The edge of the floor lies at the borders for the town, anyone able to walk to the edge and find a small guard wall with endless sky over the side.

"We've been here a week and explored the entire town, how have we not found the way to the next floor?" Cynderfan is sitting on a bench in the middle of town with her legs propped up on a stone in front of her. Her eyebrow twitches, annoyed in how this floor makes little sense. She has an apple in her hand which she's tossing up then catching.

"Don't be in such a hurry, I like it here, it seems so peaceful." HDAZ and picking flowers in the small grassy patch behind Cynderfan.

"It doesn't make any sense though, there isn't even the usual teleport gate to travel back to the previous floors. Every floor has been the same, main town, gate to the next floor lies not far. Simply go to it, beat the challenge, and proceed." Cynderfan replies.

"Relax, we'll figure it out eventually. In the meantime, enjoy this place."

Cynderfan lets out an unhappy sigh. She chucks the apple at the large and elegant fountain in the center on the square. The apple hits the wet stone and bounces off, as expected. Though the stone it hits slides into the fountain, the beautifully carved work of art shakes a bit, causing Cynderfan to sit up, nervously. Uneventfully, the fountain merely crumbles apart, the water and stones falling haphazardly about the square.

"Wow, some arm you've got there!" HDAZ says, impressed.

"I didn't think I hit it that hard..." Cynderfan stands up and walks over to the fountain. "I think I found something...."

In the middle of where the fountain stood is a stairway leading downward.

"It must've been pressure sensitive. Push the right stone to reveal the secret passage." CAV notes as the group of players walk down the stairs.

They reach the end of the stairs coming into a large room made of smooth dark gray stones. The walls are lined with stained glass windows, waterfalls appear to fall just outside either one. Across from the entrance is 8 passageways. The small plush-like form of Cynderluv stands in the middle of the room.

"Hello players!" She speaks loudly, but at the same time politely. "Here you must each choose one of the paths before you, no two make select the same path. Fret not though, each path does lead to the end and a path of stairs to the next floor, though the dangers you'll face in each will depend on your selection. Good luck to each of you."

"Is there anything you can tell us about what lies down each?" CAV inquires.

"Sorry, but I don't have that info. I only know that no two are the same."

The players look to one another then make their selections.

"See you guys on the other side." Avatari grins optimistically before they all start down their path.

Boss Labyrinth

Uragiri No Yuuyake

The players enter their respective passages, shortly after each has started down their path, a door slides down to seal off the path so no others can follow. They mostly appear the same, each leading to an identical hallway.

Cynderluv sighs. "Good luck everyone, nothing i can do to help you now..."

Eventually, each hall enters a large and rather spacious room with a different danger within each.

A dullahan dressed in knight's armor stands before her. Dark red smoke pours from the hole in his neck. The creature pulls out a blade and cuts his arm, letting his blood pour freely. The blood solidifies into a sword in his hand. Avatari makes the first move, charging for the creature, the two sword collide. Surprise comes over Avatari, not expecting the blood-sword to be as hard as steel.

HDAZ walks into the room to see a woman sitting on a bench, her hands covering her face. HDAZ walks over, cautiously.

"Ma'am... Are you ok...?"

The woman turns to face her, her expression filled with sorrow. It appears as if she's been crying.

"Mom..." HDAZ is surprised, the woman resembling her mother.

The woman's face turns to that of a demon, her fingers growing longa sharp. She reaches out and claws at HDAZ's face.

A large angelic fairy floats in the center of Sky's room. She smiles brightly at the young player.

"Good luck to you on your quest young traveller, go in peace and may love guide your journey." The fairy speaks calmly with a soothing voice.

Never taking her eyes off f the angel, Sky walks across the room and leaves in a hurry, heading down another hall to the exit.

Upon first entering the room, CAV thinks it empty, that is until he hears the loud screech of a bird echoing throughout the battle arena. A phoenix swoops down and sends out a breath of fire at his feet before flying back up to its perch.

"This should be interesting..." CAV mutters, drawing his sword.

Before Dmc has fully entered into the room, he quickly has to through up his sword in defense, a young man charging for him with his sword drawn. The boy jumps back then twirls his sword, it transforming into a staff as it spins. When he finishes twirling it, it has become a sniper rifle. Dmc runs along the side of the room, dodging bullets as he goes.

"Frickin' hacks man!" Dmc shouts as he runs.

CommanderGame greets EP within his room.

"Dude! We thought you were dead! It's great to see you." EP runs over to give CG a hug.

Before EP reaches him, CG transforms into Prex.

"Uhhh...." EP stops in his tracks as Prex then transforms into Ninpire. "Using the dead players against me. How morbidly awesome." EP grins as the shape-shifter switches into Troll Slug then over to the form of I-Brawler.

Cynderfan is greeted by the merry chant of Santa Claus, though upon getting close, his head twitches violently and his eyes spin into his head before letting out a deathly roar.

"I don't think that's right." Cynderfan takes a step back.

sP leisurely strolls into the room to find a dullahan with a blood-sword, a siren, a phoenix, a man with a weapon that constantly changes its type, a shape-shifter currently in the form of Angel, and a demented Santa Claus all charging for him.

"Aww crap...." sP says.

He tries to fight them off, stabbing the siren in the chest. She lets out a loud shriek as she is defeated. Though before he can move, I-Brawler and the dullahan stab him with their swords. The phoenix then covers the arena in its fire-breath. Flames engulf sP as his body shatters into pixel shards.

Danac Castle

Ground Theme

The town seems rather elegant upon first impressions, with a large and rather fancy castle taking up most of the town. Most of the monsters that roam the countryside surrounding the town resemble either turtles or odd walking mushrooms, both of which being mostly harmless in nature. However, every night the loud roaring of some beast fills the floor, unsettling all who hear it and making sleep near impossible.

"We have to find out what keeps making that noise at night.... It's likely what's guarding the gate to the next floor." Avatari yawns as she speaks.

"I know hunting down and fighting whatever it is may not be the most pleasant thought, but I would like to get a good night's sleep...." CAV adds.

"Why do we need sleep again? This is a virtual reality game." Dmc wonders aloud.

"It's likely part of the programming in the system to make things seem more of a realistic experience." CAV replies.

"Whatever the reason, I'm tired and I want to kill that damn thing keeping us up." Cynderfan grumbles through narrowed eyes and gritted teeth.

"How about we just flee to a lower floor at night?" Sky suggests.

"This castle is nice though, and we still need to progress through the game." Avatari replies.

"It sounds like it's coming from the west. I guess start there?" HDAZ suggests.

"It's the best we've got, let's go with it." Avatari says, leading the players due west.

After some time, they eventually come across a cave situated between some trees and carved deep underground into the side of a hill.

"Why do some many of these have to be in dark creepy caves? Why can't we have more like the last battle?" Sky complains.

The plush form of Kardonis marches out of the cave with his arms held behind his back. "Hello victims! I see you finally made it!"

"I don't like the way he said that..." Sky attempts to cower behind Avatari.

"Within this cave you'll find a dark and powerful monster, defeat it and you can move on to the next floor. Of course this is easier said than done. Good luck, you'll need it." Kardonis smirks.

The players cautiously proceed down into the cave where they find a large humanoid tortoise-like beast that is colored a a dark violet with a pitch black shell. The beast lets out a ghastly roar, wisps of purpleish-black flames flicker from its mouth.

Sorry, but Your Freedom is in Another Castle
Today is... a bit of a doozy... While you will be answering questions to get the highest score as normal, the score's you obtain from answering will count for another player. However, if you do not answer a question or get one wrong, it will deduct a point from your score. Who your score counts for will not be revealed until the results are given in 24 hours. Whoever has the highest positive valued score will win immunity.

In addition, this challenge acts as a boss battle against Dark Bowser. Dark Bowser has 150 health. Each correct answer will knock off 10 points. Whoever deals the last blow will win a special prize, though if you fail to defeat him, tonight will be a double-elimination night.
