Is the Kaos Trap Single Available on Day One?

I've heard users talking about how TT stuff is being put on the shelves, and I've seen plenty of pictures. But, no one has talked about seeing a Kaos Trap, and none of the pictures feature him. This draws the question: Will the Kaos Trap be available on Day One? Hopefully someone who works at a retailer that has received shipments can answer. Thanks!

EDIT:

This is regarding the single pack, not from the Dark Starter Pack.

If you get the Dark Edition you can get it with Wave 1. Otherwise its a waiting game.

Skydad got a hold of a single. I thought they were going to be available in limited supply at launch?

I suspect that they pushed the release back to Wave 2. Either that, or they'll put one Kaos Trap in a few Wave 1 boxes and make it a Chase figure, which is very unlikely.

Will still be checking the forums every now and then!

Reviewers received the single pack Kaos Trap. I had heard a rumor that he would be limited at launch and then show up in greater numbers later on. Activision wouldn't comment when I inquired.

Activision not commenting about something? Par for the course at this point.

It would actually be odd if they DID answer something.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

At my nearest big w they're 68$ and they didn't sell a single trap team product yet. It would seem parents are tired of it

What makes you think that parents hate throwing hundreds every year into a single game? :0)

Still a better series then CoD no matter how repetitive skylanders gets ^

CoD also costs less yearly to invest in. The anger over a $60 game that you can trade in at Gamestop, is far less, than a game that normally costs the person several hundred. Thats even for the most minimalist of players of Skylanders, assuming this year they only got one Trap Maser of each element, and one trap of each element.

It does indeed cost much less, but it's also less unique. Skylanders is really the only game of it's kind, not including infinity which is a bit different.

Less unique, less gimmicky. You pick your battles. I dont care for FPS, so CoD isnt an issue for me. I might break down and get Battlefield: Hardline because of the police aspect, but it'll probably be after a few months. That aside, as what kicked this all off. Parents will be less inclined to throw hundreds at this game year after year. One, there never seems to be a end game. There is never a complete collection when there is a new 50+ figures every release. Storage is likely becoming a major issue for some. Even figures in nicer storage containers start to take up space when you are looking and hundreds of figures by now over the course of four games. Plus a portal, now traps. A $60 comes in the case the disc came in and sits on the shelf. Its one of the reason Gamestop really dislikes the TTL movement. Figures at between $10-35 take up the space that could house dozens of games at three times that cost. I'm honestly surprised Gamestop is even considering the trade in on them again. It failed the first attempt. Activision clearly doesnt care about loyalty return business though, their model is pushing the newest gimmick and pushing to the ever cycling kid demograph.

I think after this game GameStop/Ebgames will either not stock skylanders or have a very small selection. I can attest to the space being an issue, at last count I had 389 skylanders and that's grown with trap team. And now I have them on shelves in boxes on pegs and some still in the shipping boxes they came in.
