^i read that one yesterday. Thought it was quite hilarious! Not sure if there was more to it ?

I noticed the Masked Mabu one. I was curious what it meant, then I remember that I had read it before. It seems they are putting some older splash screens back in that don't have to do with current promotions.

I never get these interesting splash screens. Mine's always the "element of the day" screen or something similarly banal.

I've been curious about this "history" since this was first reported. I finally got it earlier today. I guess it came to me late since i also started LI a bit late last year.. Lol..

Seems like a pretty clear suggestion as to what next month's element will be.

The latter one definitely seems to point to an undead month October. Not surprising and already predicted (even though some wanted to say it was water, for whatever reason). I wonder if they'll bring back the dark islands like they had last year. I remember when it finally went away, we all thought the island were too bright as we had gotten used to them being so dark

They should do neon accents on all the buildings/decorations with a black light effect.

I for one do not want a repeat of last year. October was truly dark days for many. The death of sooooo many games was grave. It was darkest for me because my game was lost the night before my birthday and after weeks of waiting I was forced to start over. I will never visit another island again. Soooooo not worth it.

Yes, I missed out on much of the Dark Days last year due to a corrupt save too. I was very lucky and got my game back exactly where I left it - so I all missed was the few weeks waiting for it to be fixed. I'd like to have the colour scheme come back though. It was a nice change, and I highly doubt related to any of the issues.

It never was neon green. It just seemed that way after having everything look so dark for so long. A month later, everything went snowy and lasted that way for a long time The dark look definitely had nothing to do with the glitch issues. That was happening before after the change in visiting and adding kudos and such. I never had an issue, but I also never visited as it was too much effort for the small rewards.
