I have, they're upcoming Mini story comics that talk about certain Skylanders.

Yeah I have seen pictures about what they look like like the one you posted. But have you heard about them being bundled with an exclusive trap from TRU?

"Toys ‘R Us will sell an exclusive set of Skylanders Micro Fun Packs, which will contain an exclusive "Trap" that can be used in the Skylanders game."

These aren't going to be blind bags are they? Or will the trap be clearly visible? Had enough TRU blind bag fun with the Infinity discs.

They are visible

Also there are 3 exclusive traps to collect (One being a Legendary Undead Skull Trap)

The IDW site (the publisher) listed the Toys R Us exclusive legendary trap version as November.

I got my 3 micro comics from Gamestop today (10/21) and I'm assuming today is their release date. Only $2.99 each, they come with a poster and plastic standee (no special traps as they didn't come from TRU). Pretty good value I thought and the artwork was better than expected.

The titles are:
Welcome to Skylander Academy
Mini but Mighty
Forgetting Flynn

They also had a pair of Mirror of Mystery Adventure packs so I'm pretty sure everywhere will be seeing these within the next week or so. No word about Kaos Traps, which is basically the last thing I really want that should be out right now.

So, the Micro Packs are basically just the Skylanders comic books we've already read/heard, no separate comic adventures featuring the Skylanders on each cover? Wow.

I'm not sure. I've never seen any Skylander comics ever as our comic shop really sucks, so they are all new to me. smilie; But I was pretty much assuming it's the same IDW stuff repackaged and shrunk down when I bought them. The Dark Stealth Elf standee and Golden Queen Poster was the selling point as you don't get to see many of the Lady Skylanders get their own merchandise, you know? The comics were bonuses to me in this case. LOL!

Welcome to Skylander Academy, Mini but Mighty, Forgetting Flynn are separate comics that were recently released, but apparently they put them as Micro Comics as well and not separate different comic adventures.
