While at TFB someone told me that in the hub, you can "sing". I had no idea what they meant so I didn't say anything about it, but then I received this clip which confirms a new type of mini-game coming for Skylanders Trap Team. smilie
We have a skit to intro and outro but the "news" is in between :28 and 1:13 for those that don't want to watch the skit. smilie But you should! Just kidding.

More like DDR with weird noises along with the music. It's.... interesting...to say the last, but probably the pirate mode isn't the only one and at least it'll be worth some laughs.

Also, it's the second game Dreadbeard somehow ends up in the hub. I can already see him making up excuses that the Skylanders minigames totally aren't more interesting than pillaging and raiding.

Since the Rock Band peripherals are regular controllers as well, I imagine you could hook one up for this mode smilie smilie I expect to see this on YouTube at some point

Dunno, Guitar Hero didn't have pieces of VA for instruments.
Well if the jukebox in the Dread-Yacht didn't make everyone sing weird enough, Dreadbeard's got people even more covered.

Whereas the first few games felt focussed they seeem to be throwing all sorts of RANDOM CRAP into this game...yeah, I want to mash buttons in time more than doing PvP....oh my.

It's a rhythm game for kids. Straight up.

HOWEVER, internally Toys for Bob cranked the difficulty up to expert (or whatever the top is called) and had a very heated internal competition to see who scored highest. The lesson: it can get hard and challenging should adults decide to give it a go.
