I'm actually fine with the other two names, especially after I saw the "5" on the mask/helmet of High Five. However, I do have to take a bit of my own advice: this is a kid's game. I should expect a childish name like Bat Spin. It's made by a child for a child's game, so when I stop to put it into perspective I guess it's not all THAT bad. I can imagine one of the children in my class coming up with a name like Bat Spin.

Yeah but the contest had IN THE RULES that they'd judge creativity and wittyness. There are plenty of people here that could enter the contest that already mentioned funny names, and in a game where puns that make me grind my teeth like Lob-Star are common, there SHOULD be creativity and wittyness. High Five is the only one that even gets close to the requirements in the rules, since Bat Spin goes against 'creative name that has meaning' and Flip Wreck breaks 'write a backstory for your character' on the spot.

Kid's game doesn't mean dumb and lacking creativty. Nintendo isn't as good as it is today talking down to children, and that was one of the things that made SF so bad.

I certainly won't argue any of those points, they are how I've been feeling about the name Bat Spin as well smilie This is just how I'm trying to put it into perspective for myself so I can deal with it.

I mean, Bat Spin is slightly better than
Wham-Shell
Trigger Happy
Rip Tide

...I almost get how it's better than Wham-Shell, but how is it better than the other two?

I've never used the nickname feature in any of the Skylanders games, but I might be tempted with Frightengale for Bat Spin.

I will never use nicknames, as long as they keep putting those annoying inverted commas...

I only used nicknames once, when I changed a friend's Whirlwind's name to "Rainbow Dash".

Haha how creative. I name most of my skylanders after my family, particularly my two sons.

I never have anyone to play, so I don't know why I nickname mine. Just makes more of an emotional attachment, I guess. But with a lack of PVP(and running out of names using my usual methods), I might not even bother this time around.
