So it appears I've been "forced" to stay in the game until I'm voted out. Teehee, this'll be interesting.

Sorry for being late with day 3, I was at work.

Anyway, I'm getting a bit annoyed with everyone trying to quit. (CG, Prex tried but got voted out anyway, and now PB...) I'm sorry, but if you didn't have the time to participate, you shouldn't have signed up. It isn't exactly fair to those who do have the time and wanted to join, but couldn't because someone who won't put in the time and effort joins just to quit when the game is just starting.

Fine... PB is out. However, seeing as how both Angel and MagicFizz stated desire to be in, yet missed sign-ups, I will ask Angel to take his place since she posted first in the sign-up topic.

Day 3 will begin after I hear from her. Since I have work again tomorrow, it may be about 5pm Central tomorrow before Day 3 can get going.

If anyone else does not have the time and wishes to resign, let me know now, and I will send a pm to MF as well, otherwise, there is no resigning after this point.

Marome Village

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

The players have pushed a few tables together at the tavern and are discussing their plans. CAV opens his inventory and selects a rather simple map that was included in the basics they were given to start with. While this map doesn't go too into detail, it shows the layout of the floor the owner is currently on. CAV spreads the map across the table.

"From scouting, it is to believe the the gate to the next floor is located deep in the forest. One of the Pixie-Guides was seen pacing towards the South end. Whether or not this is a trap, is yet to be seen." CAV points to the forest area of the map as he speaks.

"Seiki did say he put out some guides to help and so far that seems to be the creature-type for them. Even if it isn't the one that will show us the way through, it'll surely help us to visit it." HDAZ smiles to the others.

"All those things do is tell us how we're going to die next." Sky tucks her legs against her chest, wanting to remain in her chair in the tavern for the remainder of the game.

"HDAZ is right. Regardless of what's near it, talking to that Pixie-Guide is going to to help us." I-Brawler agrees.

"Alright, does anyone object to seeking it out?" CAV asks the group.

Sky is the only one to raise her hand.

"Majority rules, we'll set out tomorrow morning."

Forest of Wavering Mist

A light fog rolls across the ground with the trees blocking out a majority of light through the forest, leaving only just enough light to see. The group walks carefully, through the fog, unable to see where they step.

"It should be just a bit further." I-Brawler leads the way since he was the scout to see the guide.

After a few more yards, they reach a clearing. The trees seem to bend away from one another as if by some force. Light shrines brightly into the area. In the middle of the path, a plush-like version of BrutalBash sits on a tree stump. The 12 players walk closer to him. Once they are all in the clearing, a force-field appears between the trees, trapping them within. Troll Slug runs over to BrutalBash and picks him up, hugging and snuggling him like a doll.

"Boss fight time!" EP says joyously once the force-field appears.

Sky looks around frantically. "See! I knew it! We're all going to die!"

HDAZ goes over to her and tries to get her to relax.

"Hello all. Here you will play a form of the classic game 'Whack-A-Mole'." BB begins, "Only this time, the moles can... umm... bite back a bit. If the group of you can reach a score of 300 of higher within the allotted time, you'll win and may proceed."

"What if we don't make it in time?" Dmc asks.

"Time is merely an illusion, if one looks within, they can accomplish whatever they desire." sP interrupts.

The others ignore him and continue. "Then the battle will end and you will allowed to try again later. Now.... *ahem* will someone please get him to let go of me?" BB annoyingly says, referring to TS.

Cynderfan groans then goes over to pry BB from his arms.

Okay I just want to say that I really want to continue this game. I know am very intelligent and I can guarantee that will come into play. I also am well-rounded in different video games that will come up as well. I can promise that I'll be useful and nice.

What I normally do is just stay quiet and usually you'll get pretty far

TBH, the best strategy in teams is to remain quiet and avoid posting here as much as you can. Sorta avoid your team, but don't be the weak link. It always starts by getting rid of weak members, then after the merge, getting rid of strong players. If you stay in the medium range, and your team doesn't completely suck that you are losing every challenge, you should at least make it to the merge unless someone has a grudge against you and gets others to vote for you.

Forest of Wavering Mist

Toreador

A countdown clock set for 3 minutes appears above the stump BB is sitting on, which somehow faces every player at all times. The clock starts counting down when the first mole appears, yet the fog covering the ground mostly hides it, aside from the faint traces of a yellow hard hat adorned upon its head. The mole lets out an evil screech before swinging a tiny axe at Cynderfan's ankle, then quickly darting back into the ground. Sky covers her ears and closes her eyes, the unsettling sound of the screech, getting to her nerves and making her scared.

"SON OF A *****!" Cynderfan shouts in a mix of surprise and pain from the attack. "LIL *******!"

Several more moles pop up around the clearing, once again shrieking upon burrowing out of the ground. Angel takes advantage of the sound and swings her sword down at the nearest source, hitting the mole in the head. The hit mole falls back into its hole, with a point being marked beside the clock.

"Follow the screams! It'll tell you where they're about to attack!" Angel calls out, looking about the ground for her next target.

The other players do as Angel, standing still spaced about the clearing with their swords ready, watching and listening carefully. The next wave appears soon after the last, the volume of screams filling the area leaving an unsettling feeling to all who hear. The players swing their swords down at the ground, attempting to follow the sound. The point score increases with each hit made.

"****IT! THIS IS STUPID!" Cynderfan shouts out angrily as she keeps missing and getting hit in the ankle.

Troll Slug skips about, flicking his sword and letting it bounce against the ground, racking up a large amount of points by pure luck.

"He makes it look so easy...." Ninpire sighs, having taken several hits as well.

"You're still doing fairly well, having scored a hundred points in a little over a minute." BB notes.

The players continue to smack the moles, their accuracy getting better as time goes on, getting use to the game and what they are doing. Cynderfan's swearing even lessens as the task continues. As the timer begins counting down from the last minute, Ninpire collapses, his health in the red.

"Ninpire!" Avatari calls to him, rushing to his side.

The other players continue hitting the moles, attempting to win the game and letting Avatari take care of Ninpire. However, when Ninpire falls, he lands in the fog, being hidden from Avatari's vision. She attempts to feel around for him, but instead gets an axe to her hand. She tries to feel around again, more frantically this time, again being met with an axe in her hand. As the final seconds tick away, Avatari finally reaches Ninpire, yet shortly after touching him, his body explodes into pixel shards in her hands.

"NO! Not again..." Avatari says.

A buzzer sounds, announcing the battle to be over. All of the players, aside from Avatari, look at the scoreboard.

"302 points. You made it, but only just. Good job." BB says to the players.

A set of glowing golden stairs gently fall from above and form into a staircase leading to the next floor.

Angel walks over to Avatari. "I'm sorry... There's nothing we can do for him now. We have to keep fighting though, so his death isn't in vain."


Ninpire has been eliminated from the game!

Not everyone will be in every day's flavor text. I try to balance things out and make sure everyone gets some lines, but it doesn't always happen.

Whew. That was unexpected. At everyone that have me advise, that's very nice, but I want to be at least somewhat active within my team. Not being active is how you get eliminated. I think I'll stick to my ways.

Lobria

Rainbow Road (Moon)

The fourth floor is oddly more modern in appearance than the rest of the game, with metal buildings and and concrete paved streets. From their time exploring, as far as the players can tell, the entire floor is one large city, with no known areas of grassland. Some minor enemies wander the streets outside of the main town; yet with the entire map being an endless city, the lines as to where the town (and the safe area) ends aren't clearly marked. The layers walk down one of the streets in search of the way to the next level.

"We're not supposed to play in the streets." Troll Slug complains as they walk.

"I thought you had to be at least 13 to play this game." Cynderfan turns to CAV.

"Youths do have a tendency to ignore such age restrictions." CAV replies, shrugging his shoulder.

"Guys, what's that?" I-Brawler points up at the sky. A wide, spiraling path stretches high up into the sky.

"Not sure, wanna go check out?" Avatari says excitedly

"Oh goody, something reaching far up like that, must surely be the way to the next floor." HDAZ puts her hands together and smiles optimistically.

The players run down the street, towards where it touches the ground to get a better look.

They eventually reach where it the path meets the ground to see it is part of the street that goes upwards like a hill, then goes around and around in a wide circle that grows wider with each spiral until it eventually goes on to touch the sky, likely reaching the next floor of the tower. Eleven cars sit in front of the street, with a red line going across the street just before it starts to bend upwards. The plush form of ChainedSkull stands beside the cars.

"Hey there!" ChainedSkull gives a nod to the players as they draw near.

"Dudes! It's the guide pixie-thing. What dangerous thing are you gonna throw at us this time?" sP asks.

"This one isn't too bad. See these cars? You guys will be driving them up this track all the way to the next floor. The line here prevents anything not in a car from entering the track. Simple as that." CS says.

"A race sounds like fun!" HDAZ smiles to the others.

"There must be a twist of some kind." Dmc remains skeptical.

"Eh, you got me, it isn't that simple. There will be enemies who will try to stop you long the way. You have to get to the top before they get you. Once you start the race, there is no stopping until you either get to the top or...." CS continues.

"I knew it! We're all going to die!" Sky begins to cry.

"It'll be ok." HDAZ pats her on the back. "Just try to avoid the enemy racers and you'll do fine."

Troll Slug raises his hand, "Umm, I don't know how to drive."

"Don't worry, the car does most of the work for you. Just turn the wheel to steer." CS replies.

The players get into their cars and wait for CS to give the signal to start.

Gotta Go Fast!

Discuss together and submit as one.

Having a role of some sort in the story. Not simply being there as random filler character or only available in a multiplayer mode, actually having use in the plot. For that question, please list what games you are counting. I have a list, but am unsure as I haven't played much Sonic.
