2014 is coming to an end, folks. Most titles were either delayed for the new year or simply because of sales expectations and competition. Unfortunately, this leaves out GTA5NG, SSBWiiU/3DS, Skylanders, Far Cry 4, and Assassin's Creed: Unity.

I tried and created a list of the most hyped titles, unfortunately, some did not make the cut due to backlash or not enough information given on the game.

Please give a reasoning as to what you voted for.

I voted for Bloodborne simply put because it is the spiritual sequel to Demon's Souls and Dark Souls (DaSII doesn't exist), with the core team and director behind both titles working on this game. Also, the game's setting is completely different and plays quite differently, with battles looking to be "a fight for your life".

Xenoblade Choro- err, Chronicles X and Splatoon are the only ones I'm particularly excited for because the rest don't pique my interest enough and are too far away. I decided to vote for Xenoblade because it'll probably have better single-player. There are other titles there I'm going to be excited for, but I'm not at the moment simply because other games have my attention now.

Zelda U.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 and Resident Evil 1 HD for PS3

Probably No Man's Sky for having an interesting concept and being a game where I don't have to buy a new console to experience it. Persona 5 is runner up for the same reason.

All of the games on there (save for a handful) are games I'll eventually be getting/trying though. I just don't have any of the current gen systems. I'm gonna be missing out on Batman, which would've easily been my first choice otherwise.

Splatoon.

Bloodborne! I don't think I've been so hyped for a single game in my life before, there is nothing about it that I'm not excited for.

Also super keen to see No Man Sky.

ha, i guess i'm not a real gamer, nothing on that list that looks particularly enticing to me, i don't even know what half of them are haha x.x

my current game library consists of pokemon, skylanders and disney infinity.

i need games i can play for 5-10 minutes at a time, then turn off till the next day, or a couple days later, and not have it impact on my understanding of the story, but still having it progress in a decent and interesting way, having achieved something in that small space of time.

gone are the days of playing something for a couple of hours, grinding for levels or rare items, thats more so why they don't really entice me, i know the sort of time that needs to be put in to really enjoy them, and i know i can't do it, so i don't look anymore.

Exclusive (PS4): Bloodborne, of course. Demon's and Dark Souls and the Artorias of the Abyss content are masterpieces. DS2... some enjoyable elements, but overall less enjoyable. I still wish Demon's would get a DLC (whether internal or standalone) for the Northern Lands / Land of Giants archstone...

Muliplat: Batman - Arkham Knight (postponed from fall 2014 to 2015 release). Asylum and City were great games. Origins does not exist (and Origins: Blackgate even more so. I haven't played either, but I've seen more than enough of both to stay away for eternity).

Play Demon's Souls & Dark Souls with DLC (best DLC content ever). I recommend DeS first since DaS takes everything and improves on it.

Not sure on when this comes out (It may be 2014) but I am looking forward to Fossil Fighters Frontier because it is about time we got Ultimate Gear over here!

I really don't get Splatoon. It's got nice design elements to it, but damn it looks boring as hell. Apparently it's a full retail game? Not worth the $60 IMO.

i tried to play demon souls, it does't really fit with my time constraints for playing games, i don't have the time to develop complex character builds and hunt for equipment and such, it took me about a week to get through the tutorial.
i need something i can pick up, play for 5-10 minutes, then stop till the next day when i get a chance to play again, and still have the story moving forwards at a decent pace and achieving something each time i get a chance to play.

I don't have a lot of Zelda U, tbh. I hate how Nintendo has been taking their comments back about the open world and how non-linear the game was supposed to be. They should have followed LttP, LBW, and OoT's formula (a lot of the game is non-linear, IMO).

I hope to be surprised. Honestly though, Dark Souls is what 3D Zelda should have evolved into. (Strictly Dark Souls 1, not 2.)
