The mini packs are not listed as parts of specific waves but the boxes contain 12 packs each. It's more likely that alle 4 packs are wave 1, at least in europe. If you release pack 4 in wave 2, you have to fill the boxes somehow. THat's why we didn't get Lightcore Bumble Blast. Stores are full with Lightcore figures, they don't need new ones, especially not boxes with 12 of the same figure/pack.

I wouldn't be surprised if wave 1 or 2 won't matter at all here in Germany like last year (both waves were released at launch).

One could say that there is still a little question mark regarding the mini pack releases, but some retailer listings and other "clues" indicate, that the first 4 mini packs are wave 1. The rest of the waves can be seen as confirmed, they couldn't change it anymore.

I don't know all of them at launch, but I do know that you won't get a toucan with just the triple packs.

I agree with the being "done with traps". Having one of each element and Kaos on launch day is enough for us. I may grab the odd trap after that, but having every elemental variation doesn't appeal. This coming from a guy who collects every repose and variant!

I think activision have made a big mistake with wave 2. There sales will be down around Christmas due to the amount of resposes.

It defies logic really. If I'm not mistaken Wave 3 comes our LATE in the year...virtually New Years. That lineup is looking pretty slack for the before Christmas crowd.

I always thought wave 3 hits right around Christmas too. So really at that point it will be all new characters, so that'll be a nice wave. Might as well get all the old characters out of the way faster.

In Australia I am sure it will be wave 2. I rather a balance than one terrible wave.

Darn, but if I don't order an Earth trap by day one, it won't be here by the time I get the game for my attempt at blind LPing it.
Well, maybe if I have some spare money I'll keep Grave Clobber on the orb and Golden Queen on the hourglass.

Don't forget about the Hand Traps, too.

It still sucks there appears to be no more than 14 sculpts total. It throws a kink in the plans I had to use 8 unique sculpts for each boss, and 8 sculpts - one for each element - for the regular enemies.

I think they're going to go loose with the trap designs...I bet they can manufacture them pretty fast based on demand---so probably going that route.
