Ah yes... the rainbow element..

or perhaps gemstone? Crystal? Ultra?

Maybe just adjectives, like radiant, glossy, shiny, extreme, other worldly? Spicy? Haha.

Jokes aside, good idea and valid point. I don't think anyone has any bad opinions. I think it's a new element still. 2 trap masters and 2 cores (just like the other 2 new of each type).

All I know if that if there is a new element, people are snatch it up the first chance they can, making them harder to find.

What if they are former Villains, like Glumshanks and maybe some from previous games. I only say this because at no point during any of the announcements have they mentioned Glumshanks, so does that mean he's not in it probably not, but it could mean he is now on the side of good.

Yay finally my turn to post.

Ok I'd like to say a few things about what's going on as the ? marks spots are interesting. First let me start with the Space and Time.

See I know that's one thing in an interview when talking to someone during the swapforce time (can't remember if it wsa post or pre releash) but they asked if there were going to be any new Elements this time around... they replied no (refering to SwapForce) but they said it was an interesting idea (or something like that) and they said it wasn't 'past them' to make new elements.

That being said there's still the thing about a "Time" element that people keep on bringing up. And that's "De ja vu" ruins that idea.... but you guys are forgetting one very big and key point here..... It's not even the first time they did that. Anyone remember Spyro? The dragon who's primary moves are fire based, yet he's a Magic Type? Granted it was a 'he can do any element so let's stick him in a generic' (he's even got an Earth attack *his Soul Gem*) So yeah.. then there's also other characters who've had other types as well, dispite not being Duel Element or something. Tree Rex, (even in his backstory they talk about he was a tree that came to life after ... something to do with Tech.) Or Torch... a character that could fit a Tech type. So you can't nessisarilly rule out any future new element just because it's 'allready used.


Though I still wonder why there's only 1 Series 4 on the poster... I mean sure not having very many might be a good thing... but I honestly think there's no point in doing Series 4 at all if their only doing 1... though I still can't 100% tell which skylander's in the Series 4 Logo... kinda looks like Gil Grunt... maybe but I'm not 100% sure.


So never know they could be those guys.... or something.


There is one thing.. which might ammount to nothing.. but if you notice in the other element boxes and what not. the white background as their element symols in them. Yet, these two ? boxes have multiple symbols.... Ofcourse this could easily just be a place holder. But just something to make note of.


Just one more note... though honestly I could be off.. But there's a group of like 9 villans with larger boxes than the others... so far it's showing 8... but it's missing Magic... and has 1 extra slot. Ofcourse, this is based on these 10 boxes are 'special' boss villians or something, as they're boxes are bigger and differently shapped than the others. So with there being 10... is it possible that the missing number is a villian of a new element?

Then there's the smaller boxes. If you notice.. there are 6 empty ones.. yet there's 5 of them that only have 3 in the element (going by just the smaller villans, not the ones in the larger boxes.)

So that means (assuming the placement of the villains image can change and/or there's 5 villians per element.) that gives only 2 of the 5 remaining elements with 5 per element. or even if you just give 1 more per group.. that leaves you with 1 extra... so who is this one extra o.O.... or even 2 extra if you include the big boxes.

And (though probally completely unrelated) is there a difference between the Kaos Trap and the Ultimate Kaos Trap (coming in the dark edition.) is there an available trappable Ultimate Kaos? it could ffill the last spot.

I think I just discovered something. Spell Punks are elemental, and there's a Time Spell Punk which was revealed in Swap Force. And Geargolems are elemental too. There's a Clock Geargolem and a Vortex Geargolem. Clock would represent Time, and Vortex...

I don't understand the space and time hype going on. I know that was thrown out there in an interview years ago, but it would feel very limited, if you ask me. Especially since we are already getting Deja Vu for Magic. What would they do that's so different that warrants its own element?

I'm still on the Dark/Evil conspiracy theory... It could make sense, given traptanium's properties, a group of elemental-less criminals could have been turned good and joined the Skylanders.

But whatever element they make(if these are to be a new element), it will probably barely make sense anyways. It only has to be passible for kids, so they might not even try to explain it.

I was thinking about that too, when I first played the Tower of Time and Sheep Wreck Island.

But they (and I think is a really smart move) have includes the "Time" element inside the Magic one, with Déja Vu.

Like they did for the "Electricity" one, with Zap and Lightning Rod (Air), or with the "Poison" one, with Scorp and Rattle Shake (Earth and Undead) or even the "Alien" or "Space" one, with Star Strike and, maybe Blastermind (both Magic characters).

We don't really need new Elements, because all the different aspects of nature, and the various powers allignerà with other sub-elements, can still be includes within the 8 major ones.

"Mud", "Sand" or "Diamond?" Earth. (Now that I think about it, fourth game and we still don't have a sand-based Skylander...)

"Lava"? Fire.

"Ice"? Water (Slam Bam, Chill and Freeze Blade).

No more Elements, please.
Just be as creative as always with the already exsisting ones.

I don't think TfB digs that concept. I bet VV will definitely expand on that. I absolutely loved their take on the Spell Punks...they took TfB's designs and ELEVATED them.

Clock could just be tech and vortex could just be air.

Except there's already full Tech and Air elemental Spell Punks and Geargolems.

I was only speaking of the gear golems. But yeah, I forgot about them, my bad.

Yeah, I get what you were saying. I just feel like space and time wouldn't have much variation as their own separate elements. Fire and Earth haven't impressed me really, so if they make new elements I'm just hoping it will be something they can work with in futures games with variety.

The poster confuses me too. If you count all the characters, besides the villains, it doesn't add up to over sixty, like we were promised in the trailer. If they are counting the Eon's Elites, then why aren't they on the poster either? Just seems odd to me.

Obviously, Activision is just teasing us all, being a trolling, attention whore elitist by only providing some of the information here and not giving us everything now.

I propose that all topics regarding this poster be locked. Because fairness and such.
