Crappy Tuesday after a non-holiday weekend. Not feeling the love in Skylands. 8/

My account wasn't logged in so I was playing offline. When I tried to log in it said Activision is undergoing maintenance. I hope we get back to normal and this isn't another extended hiatus or the end...

I liked it . Not all of us are swimming in wish stones yet . I am sure we have had worse super tuesdays then this one .

I'm nervous about the Activision update and am playing in Airplane mode today. If I have to login to Activate again, I may or may not be able to do it. Don't really mind at this point if I can no longer gift and visit, but I don't want my game wiped out.

As for Cherry, I bought her a while ago - just because I didn't have her yet and I want to get everything. By the time I got her, I already had more wish stones than I could spend, but she would have been fantastic earlier on.

My poor brother lost his My little Pony Game which he has been tapping on everyday for two years . . Yes i too get a bit scared everytime Activision updates . Unfortunate but those updates and new content that keeps us all enthralled and coming back for more have the potential to make any of our games go BOOM .

It happened to me already so i would like to believe i can handle another apocalypse of that nature if it happens again but who knows ?

After two years spent on something its hard to tell yourself or another that it was a free game or there are much better games to waste our time on .

Meanwhile I'm a much bigger fan of double hero xp than I am of double elemental totems... But I think this is a fine Super Tuesday and good for newer players. The problem with Cherry is that, unless you buy gems for cash, Cherry doesn't become affordable until you don't need her any more.

I tried to send gifts this morning and after about two minutes of the game being "stuck" trying to log into activate I got the screen that says activate is down for maintenance. I was relieved I got the game back at all! I think I'll stop trying to send gifts again for a while...

I was disappointed by the lack of a holiday special. It takes like no effort to do something like throw the alts in the well or at least offer some companion specials for the ones that go away. Pretty much all that keeps this game afloat these days for those that have been playing a while is Monday updates and Holiday specials to pick up things we might have missed. Hopefully they will put out the sanctum quest and something else today since they skipped yesterday.

My guess is the sanctum quest will start next Monday and just be shorter than usual.

Wasn't July's sanctum quest shorter as well? Just has to do with the relative timing of the new alt release and the Monday update.

If you play everyday you will finish that quest with several days to spare .

I don't think we have anything to worry about. We still have the new sanctum/link tower every month (we already know that the magic sanctum is coming soon), and pretty sure we will get a new alt every month to match that element. Plus we will get Trap Team updates after it comes out. Yesterday was a holiday, so it's probably why there wasn't a new update. It's possible they'll push it today or wait until next week. Activate is probably down because they are merging the accounts, today.

I was a bit disappointed with the wish stone totems popping up as well...but that's because I got MSS so fast this time around. I was at least plerased to see the Sanctum quest, since nothing happend on Labor day

With alter egos being put back in the well, this weekend, it now makes sense why they had a Super Tuesday with more totems. It didn't affect me as I have all the alter egos and more wish stones than I will ever need, but for many others, hopefully it helped them.

Now this is really a great super tuesday update.. Sheep topiary which used to be for 40 kudos now costs 75 gems.. Is this some kind of a joke? Gems vs kudos now a great deal?

And also just to add.. This one doesn't have a splash screen that i see but eon statue is giving a gem every 6 hours..

Topiaries are still max'd at 100 - so glad I got mine for kudos!

Keep yer trousers on laddies. There is an expiry date on the Sheep Top "special" . Some people are not connected and could benefit . I recall Bugmom has no kudo option .

But if they really DO give up on Kudos, then I won't feel so bad not visiting

The Eon statue always has a chance of giving up a gem or wishstones - so that might just be you getting lucky this morning and not an actual guaranteed thing.

I got both today. Since I am new to this I wasn't sure what was happening when I log on. I was happy seeing free items.

Except, hubby turned around and bought FFFryno, FWZook & GM ChopChop huts since winning those in the well. Plus a tech shrine (we didn't have even 1). ATM we have 300 gems and will be trying to get 2000 before they offer Diggs again!
On the upside--we spun and spun and spun and now have ALL the skylanders available and can start racking up gold for purchasing sheep island.

We are at 62% ON LEVEL 40!!
