I think dark assigned them for a reason.

IMO,the problem, in a nutshell, is that people are... people. They make mistakes. They have bias.
They overreact.
And they can justify it to themselves easily, with no further thought. That's a bad quality for a mod, but anyone can do it. Matteo, however, didn't learn. This happened before.
So what, I say. What if it did, I say. He doesn't deserve to be insulted for it. So basically what everyone else said, put in LegoLander speak. My earlier post was sarcasm. Better go edit it before someone gets the wrong idea.....

As Windumup said, I realized that it was way too harsh.

I understand that you guys want me demoted, but I've been trying hard to control myself and have been trying to keep calm.
I'm quick to anger and it gets the best of me, and, no, this is not an excuse. I've also been very stressed lately (sleep issues), so that doesn't help either.
I try to realize my mistakes and I always try to fix them.

Sincerest apologies to Windumup for that, and apologies to everyone who are annoyed by my constant blunders.


I'll be working much harder from now on in and correcting the mistakes that I've made.

Matteo, your intentions may have been good to help Aura, and I'm glad you're being better by apologizing, but straight-up suspending someone is still taking it too far. It's worse that this is not the first time this happened. I can agree that Windumup's statements were uncalled for, and that he isn't exactly a great user(no offense Windumup), but something like this should only deserve a warning first. With these constant outbursts, it's no wonder so many people want you demoted. Thank you for apologizing, but this still doesn't cover the fact that this number of screw-ups makes other users want you demoted, and it's kind of a surprise that dark hasn't done anything about it.

And on the subject of dark, he REALLY needs to update the mod list. He does do a better job here than some other forums I have been on, but he needs the help, and situations like this show that we need an updated mod list. This isn't just something that should be randomly picked like dark most likely did two years ago. This is one of the larger fan sites out there, let alone one of the biggest Spyro ones. A site like this shouldn't be treated this way with the moderation team, and i think I'm speaking for the majority of users here, considering most people's thoughts on them.

Dark, regardless of how long the suspension was, Windumup shouldn't have been suspended for something as small as this. A warning, maybe, and maybe a suspension if it kept up. But immediately going with suspension for an insult as dumb as "know-it-all" isn't and shouldn't be viable.

Today I actually saw one or two meaner comments that were directed towards Aura, but nothing was done about it.
Don't mind me... I'm just saying...

I also want to give credit to Matteomax for being honest about what he did and apologizing for it. It would be easy to say nothing or hide behind someone else, but he spoke his honest thoughts and was just doing what he thought was best, even if it wasn't the best decision.

Honestly I feel like it really wasn't as bad as you all are making it sound. Half the time saying something like that to someone who is well liked and JUST came back would get people riled up. And I don't think the mods like those topics anyway

User A says to User B "You're a dumbass"- User A gets a moderated message for this single post.

But then User A starts spamming User B with "You're a dumbass" posts all over- User has been consistently flaming and spamming and therefore gets a suspension.

Remember when I was suspended for 2 weeks? My grades really improved when that happened.

Depending on the severity of the case a suspension may have been worthy. But unless he did this to 4 different GBs after being told to stop, I don't think it escalated to that point yet.
