ok, why the **** is Primal Kyogre not Water and Electric

Because a whale-like creature being part electric makes no sense. Also I see zero electricity on him so that is another reason

He's probably taking the Primal markings kyogre has, into thinking Kyogre has electricity running through him.

Pokémon isn't supposed to make sense, yo. Also, look at his markings inside his body and his bioluminescence.
Hell, the yellow things in his fins even have thunderbolt-looking tips. It makes sense. Plus, it'd be interesting to have another Water/Electric type.

There's also the fact that Groudon is already extremely disadvantaged against Kyogre, and even more so now since he's Ground/Fire in his Primal form.
Though adding an Electric typing to Primal Kyogre wouldn't exactly even them out, it would still give Groudon a better chance at defending itself.

The way it shines and its color. It looks like bioluminescence, a trait many fish have. Also, the electric eels has marks down its body that glow yellow/blue when they are about to shock/stun their prey. To me it looks like Primal Kyogre is Water/Electric. But thats just me and a few other people. It would also balance out the playing field between P Groudon and P Kyogre. Not exactly even but still better.

Not the symbol you dolt, the yellow things inside of the fins. Look at the official artwork:

[User Posted Image]
(sorry that it's so small; couldn't find a bigger image)

If you actually take the time to look closely at the yellow thing inside of it's fins, you can see that it has two tips, both of which appear to end in a slightly thunderbolt-like shape.

That's doesn't mean ****. "Oooh it's in the backstory" That doesn't prove or disprove one damn thing.

Thats what I meant
compare the yellow thing inside his fins (making a shape)

to this
[User Posted Image]

They both make out the same general shape (aka Alpha with a slight point, Aqua's being more bone like do to their pirate motif)
Also backstory does matter, it is the closest thing to what the primal evolutions are actually.

Think of it like this

Kyogre calls rain (thunder has 100% accuracy in the rain)
Kyogre also has a very high special atk

Add stab and your going to WRECK stuff

On other notes
Long, long ago, there appeared in Hoenn two Pokémon of fearsome power. These two became known, in later times, as Groudon and Kyogre. When Groudon howled, the earth swelled and the land grew wide. The sun blazed overhead, and all the world around the creature was enveloped in incandescent heat. When Kyogre roared, water poured forth and the seas spread outward. Dark clouds enshrouded the world, and the deluge fell upon all.

It was a primal age, early in the world’s history. The natural world was overflowing with energy. That energy granted Groudon and Kyogre an overwhelming power. Seeking ever more of that energy for themselves, the two clashed again and again, and their battles cast the people and Pokémon of Hoenn into great danger. Brimming with the overwhelming power granted to them by nature’s energy, their transformation was named "Primal Reversion" by later people. And the people called their tormentors Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre...

Notice how it says when Kyogre roared, water poured forth and seas spread outward? It never once said anything about thunder (Groudon gets the fire typing do to him being able to roar up a blazing sun)

Rain doesn't always have thunder

And I meant in general, Stab thunder on something with drizzle is pretty good

Also I finally got a shiny Groudon and Kyogre via trading (for primal evolution when ORAS comes out)

Which I hate that they changed

Windumup, kyogre already has two stab moves that are stupidly powerful and are generally run on him. Water spout wrecks a lot more than thunder would. And you can't even sweep with kyogre with thunder always having perfect accuracy (weather nerf)

Electric on Primal Kyogre would be a weak attempt at evening things with Primal Groudon. Sure it would let Kyogre get hit by super effective damage from it but with its natural bulk it can take a hit. Primal Groudon on the other hand will be wrecked any day of the week by a water type attack since its 4x effective. In the big picture Electric on it would only serve to make it broken with the extra STAB. Last i heard, both Primal's types are confirmed <.<

If they were to make either of the legendries duel type I would say Groudon. Ground and Fire just makes sense. And I'm not saying that Kyrogre CAN'T be Water and Electric, but how many water electrics do you see? a water and electric type that would make sense is Elektross :/

Why would they reveal PGroudon's new typing and not PKyogre if he were to get one.

Just because it LOOKS like electricity doesn't make Kyogre electric. It's like saying "Flygon has wings. Automatically makes him a flying type." And because it dictates its typing is because whales are associated with water, not necessarily storms and lightning.
