Who would like to start a darkSpyro guild with me? We would have to play a free game obviously, so others could play as well.

I would say World of Warcraft, but you have to eventually pay. We could play Path of Exile! We couldn't do a proper guild...but we could have party chat, and each game could have 4 players.

Example: 12 users in the chat, but 4 in each party.

[Party 1 - Zer0dch, somePerson, Avatari, Amythest]
[Party 2 - dark52, arcuestheprime, locoguy17, windumup]
[Party 3 - Coocie2, Ghakimx, Adria, Cloudtail4ever]

Three seperate parties in a game, but everyone is in the same chat. We could have way more in the chat/guild also, we are not limited to just 12. The usernames are also the first ones that came to mind.

Digimon Masters online is a good game for this too, you can open up actual guilds, only thing you need to pay for is exclusive items, if you wanted them that is.

We could play the mmo on GaiaOnline. Sure the main site is mostly **** right now, but it could still be fun to run around the story of the game. There is a Guild system even where the Guild has it's own forum and can chat in-game.

Yeah, no, I didn't think so.

Pirate101 maybe? The membership isnt that expensive and can be easily gained (only 10$)

That and they expanded the free areas so it may take us a few days/a week depending on how long we log on to get through the free to play sections.
