The subbed versions of anime are usually better IMO, less changing the storyline and such~ Just some online ones are a bit dodgy, but you get the basics of it XD

I usually watch subs, when I was younger I couldn't understand/keep up with subtitles due to being new to reading, and some other problems, but now I'm so used to subs that I can read while also not missing action. I'm not sure what's to be considered better, just depends on preference.

@wild; Yeah same - when I first started watching subbed anime it was hard to focus on the anime and the subs at the same time, but now it's easy enough.
