Of course you need either the Master Sword (which can only be wielded by Link in the first place) or the Silver Arrows (which don't appear anymore in the series).

Now obviously this isn't the case in Smash because then Ganon would be overpowered, but by series logic no one can beat Ganon except Link.

Series logic goes out the window once you start crossing over universes. Because the series logic only applies to people within that universe. The Master Sword and Silver Arrows are the only thing that can defeat Ganon in Hyrule/the Zelda universe. Doesn't say anything about anyone or anything from outside that universe.

Which is why I still think, logically, god-killing hedgehogs and angels, a "dumb" goddess with control over space (and life, if you've seen Galaxy's ending) itself, a goddess of light, and a pink ability stealing puffball would still be able to potentially defeat Ganon, if not flat out annihilate him (or in Rosalina's case, poof him out of existance or throw him in a space pocket).

Hey guys, check this out. A guy using a Wii/Gamecube emulator was able to play SSBB with the Oculus Rift and it looks pretty cool.

A few things, first off, there is no right with Sakurai. He's unpreditcable, which is why his fans adore him.

Second, what you need to realize is that Smash Bros. is a celebration of Nintendo. Bowser Jr. completes in the primary Mario cast. Duck Hunt Dog is a great retro newcomer, (Joining R.o.b. and Game & Watch). Almost any Nintendo character has a chance in Smash Bros. if not a playable character, then an Assist Trophy, regular trophy and sticker. Saying that it isn't right to add "random" characters in Sm4sh is, in my opinion, stupid, immature and kind of selfish. These characters aren't random, they have a place in Nintendo's long history and earned the chance to join the fray. Be happy with what were gonna get.

I think the roster is great. And we still don't know all characters, there's 3-5 left. Apperently, they're Ridley, Dixie Kong, Chorus Men, Mewtwo, Mach Rider and Impa.

I just kinda wish that King K. Rool could have gotten in instead of Dark Pit, he has been with Nintendo for decades and a clone that doesn't have much to do with Nintendo's history gets in.

Duck Hunt Dog, while being good for retro reasons, I just don't understand how that works as a fighter. What's he going do, run around and bite people? His final smash is what? Sending an army of ducks to bombard your opponent? I feel he would've been better as an assist trophy.

Dark Pit should not be his own spot. He is a 100% palette swap clone of Pit and should've just been an alt. costume.

Videos were uploaded on Youtube showing actual game play revealing Shulk and Bowser Jr. They were removed by Nintendo, basically confirming that it was real. Because of this leak, which similar and likely connected to the Ninka leak. The Ninka leak talked about the remain characters and some move sets, notable ones being Bowser Jr and Shulk because it was accurate with the game play leaked. Since the Ninka leak correct with the move sets, it is likely that the remaining characters are Ridley, Dixie Kong, Impa, Mach Rider and Chorus Kids.
