"My childhood is so much better then kids these days. I remember playing Pokemon Yellow and oh my gosh is Pikachu just adorable. Spongebob is like my childhood. Tommy is like the best Power Ranger ever. I remember when computers took forever to use which kids these days are so ungrateful for. I love my Nintendo 64 which is an amazing part of my childhood. I remember when I use a yellow marker on pencils. I remember when I lose my erasers on my mechanic pencil. #90kids CLICK LIKE IF YOU"RE A 90's KIDS!!!!!!!!

Lolwat that's actually a shirt?
What's so special about the '90's anyway? Just because that's the decade we were born in doesn't mean it should be worshipped.

It's basically like elderly people complaining about how everything was better "back in their day". People frequently confuse the joy of their childhood with the quality of life in general I guess. :/

And ^This..... I'm a "90's kid" (Notice the quotation marks e.e), but I don't go worshiping the 90's like so many others like to do, and claiming that my 4 years of childhood in the 90's were better then kids childhood nowadays...

People born in the mid to late 80's are indeed 90's kids. People born in begininning of the 90's to mid 90's are just 90's toddlers. People born past 95 are just 2000's toddlers/kids.
Born in 1994, I was six in 2000. I am definitely way more a 2000's kid than a 90's kid. |

I love how "90's kids" like to think that technology that wasn't as advanced as it is now a days is superior all because it was made in their childhood.
man i miss when technology was INCONVIENENT like walkmans and bulky cellphones, kids just dont understand these days and their childhoods suck :(((( |

...now if you'll excuse me, I've got some N64 and PS1 games to play.

In terms of the then World Wrestling Federation, from 1994-1996, the WWF was in the drizzling ****s. Overly cartoony characters that should have stuck in the 80's. There were some good PPV's in that time (I do emphasize the word some), but the bad far outweighed the good. So the 90's weren't all peachy-keen for the World Wrestling Federation. Also may I point out tat WWF fans were getting tired of Hulk Hogan by 1993.

Or I could just do nothing and like what I feel like. But that's too hard. |

And then you have those kids who think that they're 90's kids because they have VHS's, a Nintendo 64, PlayStation 1, Gameboys, or watch old cartoons.

They're just total posers who don't know anything about the 90s like we do. Me? I was born when the 90s began, 6 months in. I guess I could say that I was one of those people who started that decade.

late '98 here so i don't consider myself a 90s kid. i did grow up with a lot of cartoons that began in the 90s that i still like (EEnE, Courage, Spongebob, etc. though those all went on through the 2000s so are they considered 90s cartoons?) and the PS1 is still my favorite game console but i embrace new culture/shows/games too. i don't want to look down at the new culture just because it's not what i grew up with. talk about being blinded with nostalgia.
not saying you can't still enjoy what you grew up with, that'd be pretty hypocritical of me! i just think that judging everything that came out recently without even really trying it simply because it wasn't a part of your childhood and then pretending that your tastes are superior is a little close-minded.

People who say "stuff was better back in (insert time period here)" are just people who aren't willing to change, adapt, or even accept any evolution to society and culture. As much as I loved the stuff I grew up with as a child, you just have to move on, things such as games, TV shows, and technology are going to change and with it comes flaws and shortcomings but that's no reason to ignore all the great things that come along with it. Like can you seriously say you'd prefer a Gameboy over a 3DS? Or those brick cell phones over an iPhone/Android? Of course not, but I'm not saying you can't enjoy relics of the past, just as long as your not clinging to it. Just go back and try out some of those things you used to enjoy to see what you still actually like, chances are, you're gonna feel dumb about liking certain things. Times change, and with it everything else, you either stay behind or you move on.

Yeah, I never really got into the shows that were airing when I was a kid because if we had cable it would have been in dutch, thus I just watched whatever we could get on DVDs from a store on the base.
