Depends on what you meant by "central America" Since the continent is North America, which includes Canada. So....be more specific.

^depends, really. like for example, you cant even begin to compare one to another, so in some situations, youd be better off w/ saying central instead of north.

I guess.
Anywho yeah, like most countries where it's warm, "Central" America is mainly developing countries.

You could say the same thing about Africa and some portions of South America.

There's still significant enough of a cultural difference and such to where it makes sense to call it Central America. I do the same.

Or, if you really want to get technical, many people in South America just call the entire two continents "America", due to them being connected save for the Panama Canal.

For the record does anybody regard the Caribbean as part of Central/North America? Or is it just its own thing in the Atlantic?

Don't feel like typing responses, but this is relevant.

Actually, El Salvador and Honduras don't get along, at all. They always dispute over islands (aka. La Isla Conejo), which /is/ technically, El Salvador's, but they didn't properly acquire it. SO Honduras went and sat their asses on there, and then started threatning thatd they shoot anyone that got too close to the island. In fact, people were afraid that a war could form.
