Legendary Blades...hmm. Not my first choice for Legendary treatment, but not horrible either. The wings look exactly like Legendary Spyro. Overall, I'll probably get him though.

I LOVE legendary blades I will definitely buy him! His stats are OK overall

The Mirror of Mystery figure appears to have a "hologram" image of regular and dark Eon. Nice idea there.

Why release the last adventure pack so soon after the games release?

Also, if there aren't six cores released, how do you release two triple packs in wave 2? Finally, why release the last of the Series reposes so soon?

I assume the wave predictions was just that, a prediction.

So no Life or Magic Trap Team figures in Wave 1.

Wave 2 will have Life, and Wave 3 will probably have Magic. Wave 2 will most likely release early at Toysrus again, so no huge loss, but keeping Magic Traptanium Gates locked until probably end of December is annoying.

I miss the days of Spyro's Adventure and Giants where you had the choice to immediately buy what you needed to access every area, not these artificial in-game lockouts.

Oh well, cue the "I don't want to unlock everything on the first day anyway" arguments.

Yeah I don't know about that wave 2 list. Besides why just 3 trap masters in only the 2nd wave? Short Cut should be in wave 2 as well in my opinion.

I still feel that adventure packs shouldnt even appear till wave 2/3, they should be used timely to open up new stuff to keep the game fresh and give ur new wave of skylanders something new to do. I guess they fear if its too late they wont sell?

How is Blades the new Boomer? He wasn't in an Adventure Pack. And Blades isn't considered ugly like Boomer is/was.

Eh, Blades is a dragon, and all of the dragons were pretty popular, so it makes sense.

Blades is probably my favourite new Skylander but I think I'll give his Legendary counterpart a miss. I prefer his normal colour scheme and I never buy Legendary Skylanders.

My point was more to the fact that there has never been a skylander of the same series in an adventure/battle pack that was also a legendary figure. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Nope. The closest would be Slam Bam, but that was across the first two games rather than simultaneously.

According to the article in the OP, new sidekick figures will be bundled with previously released sidekicks. Does anyone else find this annoying? Wouldn't it have been nice if they put a bit of forethought into this and didn't make it so we had to buy doubles of 8 sidekicks?

Conversely, if they did put forethought into it, and deliberately packaged things this way... well.

I never saw anything wrong with Activision trying to make as much money as possible. I also never felt like they were deliberately gauging me, until now.

The more money we give to Activision the more awesome games we get. I have no problem with spending loads of Cash October 5th.

Don't understand. L Blades is not in the TRU starter pack, and nothing is stopping you from going to TRU Day 1, even if you preordered elsewhere. For SF, me and the kids went to TRU at opening to get the legandaries and the majority of figures, Target to get Nitro Magna Charge, Walmart for Enchanted Hoot Loop (only to find they hadn't put him out yet), then Gamestop for the Dark Edition Starter Pack. It was a morning we will never forget.

I'm pretty sue they chose Legendary Blades because most people buy the adventure packs anyway and have to buy another blades if they like variants. So you can't really choose buying only legendary blades.

The emii digital shop at taobao is now almost empty, I guess we got him into trouble by posting legendary blades.

Or, there will be a TRU exclusive version of the adventure pack that features Legendary Blades. Much like the 'Golden Dragonfire Canon' battle pack, there could be a 'Legendary Nightmare Express' adventure pack

While I was at Toys for Bob, I did mention this to them. They said that an Activision employee is trying to trace their origin, as these guys were almost definitely stolen from the factory.

Wow, some of those are pretty cheap when converted to USD. Then again, I don't always trust sites like this, as you never know where the skylander came from or if it really is working. I only buy a skylander from an online retailer if I'm desperate, but I'm actually thinking of getting legendary blades because he looks so cool!

at this point the legendaries are a joke.... we have eons elite, villains and trap masters that are more stronger in one way or another. just buy the adventure packs with blade and forget legendary blade... also trap team are a short game, so you need the adventure packs to get to use all the new skylanders and old.
