Yes, but those are speculations, day 1 plans, and thoughts. I wanted to make a list for everyone to view wave 1 and all pricings. Plus, this took me about an hour to make, so I'd appreciate it if you don't close the topic.

Nothing has been fully confirmed for Wave 1 yet, it's all speculation. Even though the pop-up shop at Gamescon showed us a lot, we still can't be sure yet.

We don't even know if the current 3DS pack is final, yet.

I haven't seen anything laid out like this. Just keep this thread and update it when we know. My son was trying to get his Christmas list ready and this helps.

It's actually a pretty cool starting place. Obviously some things might change, just edit it once better information is available.

Thanks guys! I will keep this topic up and update it as the news comes out. One thing missing was the trap triple packs. I could not include them because when they were leaked, the traps lacked color, and we couldn't tell what element the traps were.

Thanks, I was trying to get all of the traps in. I was watching Family Gamer TV's video, but could't see everything clearly.

Here we go again! Assuming this list is accurate (I know that nothing is confirmed as yet), We are once again expected to purchase duplicates of figures we already have! I have feared they would package the new mini's with the old mini's. Many of us collectors went through the trouble to order them during the Frito-Lay promo and paid our $2.50 s/h (I think that is what it was). Why would I want to buy them again! This frustrates me so much. I really enjoy this game but have been on the fence about this one. If Acti insists on making me spend more money on duplicates I am out. It will give me more money to spend on Infinity! If anyone from Activision reads these posts, please don't package these with figures with those that have already been made available.

I've got about a $400 budget for Wave One, so my plan is to get the Xbox 360 Starter, Wii U Dark Edition, 3DS Starter, Adventure Pack, all available Trap Masters, Cores, and Reposes. Then I'll buy as many traps as I can with my remaining budget, making sure I get at least one of each element.

Wait. Are trap masters $14.99 or $15.99? Is there an error on the list?

Toys r us is selling the Trap Masters at 16.99 each.

That, or get the dark edition and buy the regular editions online. They aren't expensive. There really is no reason to buy more than one starter kit.

So the total amount I have to spend on wave 1 alone is 211.85 dollars.

Has anyone heard anything about TRU having Legendary figures again this year? They've been a staple of TRU throughout the skylanders series and it's doubtful they would just abandon the one set of exclusives they have always had.

Will there be anymore different molds of the traps for each element in Wave 1? They can't just sell one or two specific sculpts of the crystals in each element. Shouldn't there also be for example:

At some point, you really do have to tell them what they're doing wrong. The best way to say that to corporations is not through discussion or dialog: vote with your wallet. Simply go without and don't buy it. They'll do one of two things: 1. correct the ship or 2. fail. Of course, if enough didn't vote accordingly nothing will happen, which is why you must remain vigilant. Worst case buy it second hand.

At the very least you won't feel bad for being "strong armed" into a purchase you did not want to make. I knew this day would come for me, I just didn't know it would come so quickly.

In the case of the mini's though, there really is little choice but to go without. There will not be much of a secondary market available for the new mini's, not at a decent price anyway. If you want hi jinx for example, I doubt she will be available for under $20 (including shipping) for quite sometime. Eye small will be practically worthless. None the less, I'm sure those mix (old and new) won't sell nearly as well as the all new packs. Water and Life will sell rather poorly.

They have to know all this stuff though. So they obviously believe 2 all new packs, 4 mix packs, and 2 old packs will sell more units then 4 new packs and 4 old packs. Therefore, they know guys like you will vote with their wallet, but less so then the number of folks that simply don't buy 2 figures they already have.

Still no bop? Wave 2 probably.

Initially, TRU will make it worth your while to buy from them by doing the B1G1 50% off. Last year, I bought the bulk of my figures from TRU using that deal. I only went to other stores to buy the variants (Dark Starter, Nitro, Enchanted). I don't doubt TRU will do the same this year.

Yep, I hope so! I never got Terrabite so I need the Earth pack.

TRU added $2 to the price last year of swappers, they were $16.99 and most other places were $14.99. They are high on practically everything. Their Wii Remotes have always been $41.99 instead of #39.99. Their Lego sets are more expensive than the Lego Store in the mall. They have lots of sales, but it is all a game because their prices are higher to start with.

I probably didn't notice the price hike because I pretty much bought there when there was a sale. Ugh.

Well, we are getting Blades, Funny Bone, Torch, and Chopper. I think reason they have is 4 is because of all the other figures being released, so I don't think the wave 1 lineup will change.

Most of the Legendaries usually come out early. Sometimes one or two trickle out later.

i was hoping for bushwhack in wave 1. Oh well i'll just get krypt king until he comes out, hes almost as cool imo.

I checked out myskylanders.de today, and it seems that Wave 2 is officially up. Not really sure where he got that, because my topic has all different sources to it. Apparently every repose and Gamescon trap masters will be in wave 2, off the top of my head.

It also includes Fist Bump and Tread Head, along with the mirror of mystery.
