In my local area, here is what is happening

If you pre-order Skylanders trap team, you get bonuses, like these for example

Pre-order at Wal-Mart: Free Gill Runt and Tidal Wave Gill Grunt 2-Pack

Pre-order at Target: Free Bonus Water Trap with Brawl and Chain already inside it

Pre-order at Toys "R" Us: Free Bag full of random Skylander goodies (1-Packs, Adventure Packs, 3-Packs, Grand Prize, etc.)

I have 3 Questions also

1. Are your local areas having these deals too?

2. Are there other stores giving free preorder bonuses I am not aware of?

3. I can't find anywhere that allows you to pre-order the dark starter pack

You think I could get away with pre-ordering from all 3 places, getting the free bonuses, the returning 2 of the games?

So should I/we assume at this point that Gamestop isn't getting any kind of bonus for some reason? If so: laaaaaaaaame! I do my game preorders with them since I can put my money down a little bit at a time and trade in towards it too.

Of course, with my recent work troubles (just got knocked down to only working part time instead of full time............) I may not be getting this game right away anyway Such is life I suppose.

I think you need to double check your Wal-Mart. They're making the "Water Buddies" 2 pack available for pre-order itself, it's not a free reward for pre-ordering the game.

Gamestop is getting the elite eon ones, thou can u preorder those yet?

All 3 of those (besides the Walmart one, not sure on it) are available elsewhere (or at least in the U.S.)

I know Target was offering the preorder bonus in store before but now they have actually listed the bonus on their website for online orders too. I wonder what they actually physically send you? Is it a packaged figure, or a card with a chip in it (like the UFO hat), or is it a coupon to get a figure that you can't find anywhere??

They will send you the Trap with Brawl and Chain

I am still waiting to see if they will let us get the dark edition with the pre-order bonus at Target.

It is an actual figure, upon receiving your game you get a water tiki trap with Outlaw Brawl and Chain
