I do understand why they've kept some of the trolls out of the tech element though, because then it would consist of nothing but trolls.

Doesn't explain why Krankenstein is air though.

I'd say that Krankenstein, Bomb Shell, and Threatpack all have the most confusing elements.

I think Bomb Shell is a Magic character because he throws magic bombs that create purple magical fire, just like the one used by the trolls in Fantasm Forest.

They took huge liberties with Brawlrus' element, but it's mostly because he uses a weapon and pilots a ship - could be water but maybe he was made last and wouldn't fit there.
And to be fair, Painyatta doesn't fit as Magic either but he actually doesn't fit any existing elements. It could be a case like Wrecking Ball where his backstory is what gives him the element (WB was created by wizard and so is kind of magic)

Brawlrus and Brawl Chain should switch elements.
I thought Dreamcatcher should be Magic or Undead, but she's Air, that's weird.
Threatpack should be Tech
Krankenstein should be Undead
There's a few more but that's the major ones

Masker Mind should definitely be a Magic villain, unless he can summon some undead minions.

There really isn't a lot a logic in attaching villains to elements to begin with. I imagine the biggest driving force is so that they can limit which traps you can trap them in.

Am I the only one who noticed that Cuckoo Clocker not only has the Life element, but also the Magic element? When I watched the YouTube video depicting Cuckoo Clocker getting trapped, I saw two different elements; Life and Magic. There must be some kind of mix-up error or something.

Slobber Trap - Water
Although the name sounds Water related, its design looks like it's from the Life element.

Tussle Sprout - Earth
Also looks like they should be life.

Shield Shredder - Life
Looks like a Tech.

Threat Pack - Water.
Also looks like a Tech.

Well, Broccoli Guy and Rage Mage float too, and Dreamcatcher really looks like she would perfectly fill in the Magic element, according to her name...
And most of Masker Mind attacks look like Magic based ones.

Dreamcatcher's powers are unknown, so it's still far from certain if she fits it or not. Actually, if her name was any indication, she should be Life - dreamcatchers are usually made of wood and there's this myth about it being created by some spider.
