Agreed. That will make all the difference as to whether I actually use any or not. The only hats I ever used were the Santa hat on Jolly Bumble Blast and the bone hat on the original Hot Dog, which he carried in his mouth pre-S2.

With outfits, at least I could finally put pants on any Skylander who don't have any, including Snap Shot. Also, I wonder if there will be attires based on whichever season like summer and winter? It would be nice to see the female Skylanders in swimwear.

Apparently there is going to be a level with wilikin and something called evilikin. So yeah they are pretty much back (or at least in evilikin form)

I like this change. I would assume that outfits have to be character specific, unlike hats, because the characters are of different shapes and sizes. So that begs a few questions...

- Which characters will get outfits? All 100+? Just the new ones? Reposes?
- And how many outfits will each character get?
- And will they seasonally release outfits, like a santa suit, bunny suit, or a lincoln outfit on Presidents day?
- Will they have the gall to charge for these somehow?
- Will they be provided with the figure, or do you have to hunt for them in the levels? Perhaps they are gained through leveling?
- Will the work on variants as well?
- Will you be able to buy the actual outfit to put on your character (I seriously doubt this)

Evil Wilikins are confirmed, so I guess the good guys would be back in some capacity...so yes.

-Upgrades are now named power?

-No more quests?

-On the stats, you can see Cali. So Thanks Activision for bringing back the Heroics Challenges or maybe a new thing that will upgrade our skylanders' stats!


EDIT: The hats were already glitchy and now they put outfits? I hope it'll fit to mini skylanders too!

I would not equate Cali to confirmation they've done anything on the upgrades side. I've all but given up that ghost.

There is hats for sure because in a recent video by familygamertv at the end of the play through it says hats 0/3

An outfit could consist of multiple components (sub-menu?), or at least head and body.

I'm sure that I'm holding onto hope for no reason, but seeing Cali there at least gives me more hope that we'll hopefully have heroics back. That's one of the last questions I want to have answered before I make my decision with my pre order. Come on speed stat heroics!! My giants want to be useful again.

I think these are an awesome idea.

I also think these will go over better than hats with my daughter. Whenever I equip a character with a hat, she ends up taking it off, because she thinks they all look silly with a hat.
