Interesting. Just a shame they won't allow anyone over the age of 10 in without a child under that age (at least, that's what happened last year, I heard).

Trap Team will be available to play there. I'm not sure if it's the demo or full game (For those unaware, the first UK tour had the final version of SSA playable a month before release). I'd still guess a demo.

Well they haven't even the finished the game yet so it's defiantly going to be a demo, however we still have a chance to find out some info.

I might be covering this in part for FamilyGamerTV, not sure yet if it'll be me at Lollibob, but we'll definitely have a presence there.

You never know a character or two may be revealed

Previous events have mainly consisted of battle tournaments (usually on the previous year's game) with goodie bag rewards. Nothing much beyond that

I think the Giants event had an early prototype of the game (as in, screenshots released at the time were from a later build). The first event allowed you to play the game regardless, but if I recall the Giants event only allowed a handful of kids to play.

A friend of mine will likely be going, so I'll have footage up on my Youtube account the same day.

Take two of a certain Skylander, make sure they're at different levels (level them up or reset them if they're both the same level), and bring them. I've seen different Skylanders do higher damage than STT's average DMG number (e.g. Chopper does 80 damage with his roar), but they were at level 15-20. If you bring different-leveled Skylanders, we might be able to understand the new damage system easier. We haven't seen an old Skylander in STT yet, so I think they're trying to hide something, wether it's a level-up DMG system or not.

He should just bring one Giant, one core, one Lightcore, one Sidekick, one Swapper, one Adventure Pack level item, and one Magic Item.

Glad you guys said take a Sidekick, I would have totally forgotten to do that! I only have the original Sidekicks, any preference?

I need to limit what I take as I'll have to carry around camera gear and food etc., but Matteomax's suggestion sounds good:

Well, I'd suggest Hex for obvious reasons but I'm not that interested in her texture updates(she looked pretty normal in SF already),but if the majority chooses it'd be a good idea to see if Skull Buddy is back at being horribly overpowered or if she's finally somewhat fast.
I'm more curious about how Slam Bam will look with the new textures. He was...Strange, to say the least, in SF.

Try to see the stats of a character. It could reveal if we will have Heroics back. On Spyro's Adventure and Giants we had a Heroics bar tha showed how many we have completed. And try a sidekick if possible.

Here's what I think you should take and why:
A character from SSA- To see how the graphics changed
A giant- to see if they have original graphics from Giants or the new graphics from SSF/STT
A LightCore- They seem to be leaving out lightcores, let's see if they still play the same
TWO Adventure Packs- One from SSA and one from SSF
TWO Battle Pack pieces- One from SG and one from SSF
A sidekick- I think we all know why....
A magic item- To see if they still work
TWO Swappers- See if they still swap good

I know it's a lot, but do it for the vine my friend.

Swappers will still swap good for sure!

if i remember correctly last year they had a tournament and the winner got all of the figures (including the starter pack) for swapforce

Just got back from Lollibop, which I keep calling bloody Lollibob! Here's the beef...

PS4 and either Wii or Wii U was playable (I have footage of both, but the screens and lighting aren't great)
I don't know if it was Wii or Wii U as you couldn't see the consoles and the controls were wiimote + nunchuck. However, if it was the Wii version, it looked way better than I would have expected.
The demo was unfortunately devoid of any menu system, no way to see upgrades, outfits or any of the juicy stuff.
The level available was Chapter 4, The Phoenix Psanctuary, which features Shrednaut, Chill Bill and Cuckoo Clocker
In better news, every figure I took with me was available in the demo and I have video of them all (but I may not be the best)
I could also do a size comparison, as requested

"Outfits" is just "Hats" and "Trinkets". Trinkets don't have stats, they are just cosmetic-gimmicks, so I think you didn't miss anything. Wiimote & nunchuck should be the wii version, standard control on the wii u is, of course, the gamepad. At gamescom they used pro controllers for the second player. You can see the villain on the gamepad screen and poke him, it's quite funny. He get's angry if you tickle him .

Any idea when the footage will be up?

A friend of mine visited the event and took some footage. I've only had a chance to upload a few photos from the event (on the front page of my DeviantArt account). They had some of the new figures out on display too. Chopper looks more awesome everytime I see him!

Cuckoo Clocker looks like a pretty cool character, I could hear him squawking away in the portal when his timer ran out

They were also handing out freebies - A Trap Team wristband, stickers and some coasters (the ones from the E3 event). Also, Stealth Elf was hanging around the event for photos and stuff.

Unfortunately with the event being outside, inconsistent weather and the use of crappy Finlux TV screens, the footage might not look too hot, but if I remember right I used the following:
