Mmmh... Well, I don't think Stealth Elf, Sprocket, Smolderdash, Roller Brawl and Star Strike all have the same face... So far, the only ones the look really similar each other are Chill, Gearshift and Torch.
And don't forget Head Rush. I don't think she's what I would call a "skinny barbie"... smilie

And still, he looks more male, to me.

I think Blastermind might be able to control small enemies (e.g. Shield Shredders), but Blastermind will take damage instead of the enemy.

They rarely make Skylanders have attacks like that, though.

Which in Giants was an entirely other character and actually a neutral-but-mean type of person instead of miss perfect villain. VV opened a big plot hole, so I don't think we can use Swap Force's story.
(according to the Guidebook, she was entirely against the Portal Masters because she blamed them for the existance of disasters in Skylands to begin with, which is why she wasn't supposed to ever be in good terms with Kaos. Though, as it can be seen ingame, she wasn't really afraid of taking advantage of Kaos' powers since she took the Wilikin as servants)
